Has nothing to do with a 'computer'. They have a paper file folder. In that folder they have the original submission and a mailing receipt clipped inside the fold. They get up from the desk, walk over to the filing cabinet (if they have one), pull your folder, email you the receipt number if they don't have enough energy to scan it for you.

Did they give you a copy of the file?

If not get one as soon as possible. Be very nice when asking for it. You need to verify everything in that file. Then be prepared to resubmit.

Only a recommendation. But that is what I would do, today.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will call her back tomorow to get the tracking number. Base on the infomation she provide me, i put together a timeline and feedback on everyone here, the data doesn't match.

Nov. 23 - 25 (that the date she told me they send it in)

Nov. 26 - 27 (not count because of thanksgiving)

Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 (package should have been recevied, because she told me they sent it via USPS Priority that take 2 - 3 days at most)

then by now the check that I included with the application should have been deposit already right ?

RFE for a November 2 petition was just loaded into the system; updated 10 minutes ago. Someone at USCIS is looking the November 2 box. Maybe found it sitting under a desk.

Sounds like if your packet was indeed sent off on Nov 23, then we would've had about the same timeline. I sent ours from Mexico (DHL 2-day) on Saturday, Nov. 21. It was delivered on Tuesday, Nov. 24 (evening), and the check was deposited on Monday, Nov. 30 (early morning) and I received the email notification around 11:30 (CST).

Sounds like they might not be giving you the right information. If it was me, and I was paying them to do a service for me, I would be going to their office and requesting the USPS receipt instead of requesting information on the phone.

I know how nerve-wracking this must be. I hope you find out what's going on! Good luck!

Correct. They are good about depositing the money.

15 Dec. It wasn't mailed in Nov. No way. And the likely hood it got lost in the mail is near zero, this ain't 1975.

Get the receipt from the lawyer. Sit in their office until they hand it to you. Or if not located locally, call in the morning, at noon, and then 2pm, and 4pm. Annoy them into either giving it to you, or fessing up that it didn't happen. But that is just me.....

sorry noobs question what is RFE

Request For Evidence.

When they want more information to prove some item. A good example is relationship, especially if there are no pictures, or the pictures are not good representation. Or proof of meeting, such as boarding ticket (not just the bill for the ticket), stuff like that.

RFE is request for more evidence. You will get this if you leave out information that they need or if you need more proof of something or if something isn't signed that need to be.

Did you write a check from your regular checking account? If so, check with your bank to see if it has been cashed.

I'm still wondering why there is 0% of 17th yet IGORS List here on visajourney shows at least 3 NOA 2's for 17th.

Maybe it's not a full 1 percentage of the I-129F's that were dated 11/17.

Have a great day.

Probably because I don't check all petitions, only a random sampling of about a 100 per time period.
