USCIS told me to expect an answer the 16th. I'll give them 'til the 18th ; ) Needless to say I will be going to bed early these next days so "tomorrow" will come sooner; and hopefully with one of these "tomorrows" an NOA2 notice will be waiting for me

We're expected to get our NOA2 by the 28th so we're giving them til Jan 5th cause of holidays.

Yet it's so sad to just wait without even being able to use myUSCIS (our receipt number "doesn't work"). =(

There is an approval for today the 14th.

They state there NOA 1 was Nov 10th.

Hope this is not the only approval here on VJ for tonight.

Some observations, guesses and assumptions:

It seems the USCIS public database gets updated after hours, because during the day the numbers never changed. So it probably does you no good to check several times per day.

The November 2 numbers did not change, perhaps a certain percentage of petitions go into some extra processing and take longer. Keeping an eye on the November 6 numbers to see if they plateau as well.
