Also, boys and girls, I don't know if there's any Brazilians (or Portuguese speakers) that are Novembers like us, but if there's any, this past weekend I started a blog to share my experiences and help them out with the K-1 process the best way I can.

If anybody wants to check it out, it's www.noivinhak1.blogspot.com

I'm looking forward to see the lucky ones who'll get their NOA2 this week!!! That's so exciting! :joy:

A friend of mine told me today that the local US Embassy (located in East Africa) will close it's doors from Dec 20 - Jan 5.

Not sure if that matters to us. But that may indicate what the State Dept is doing. Maybe....

I went over to the November 2014 k1 Visa Topic, and some people got their NOA2 Dec 20th! I didn't check what was the latest date in December but I did see a lot were still getting them during December, I hope it will be the same for us.

USCIS actually told you that your NOA2 would be processed by the 16th? Wow. I'll be calling too.

Yeah usually December 24th, everyone has taken off, feels like an aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, almost no one on the roads and even less at their jobs.

http://www.govexec.com/pay-benefits/2015/12/christmas-eve-template/124389/

Federal Employees get 4 hours off on the 24th plus all day on the 25th and 1st of January as always but again many will take 1 to 2 weeks off with their vacation time.

Please assist. How did you get to a person on the phone? I called and got a computer to read me the same thing that is on the USCIS notice. Give us the script please.

Nice idea, I went to Igor's list yesterday but could not figure out how to pull up Dec 2014. It might not be there any longer or maybe it was just done this year.

Let us know if you talk to a human. Tell them I said "Hi" if you get through...LOL
