I hope their just not updating their time lines.. I also compared it to those who have their Noa1 Oct 01-30.. and the average processing is only 32 days.. I've also watch the October filers getting approved fast so maybe Im expecting the same.. and Im just a little worried.

Are you looking at the USCIS case status? There are Oct 27-30 petitions that still have not been touched, plenty of them. The VJ system is based simply on those who have registered here, and filled out their information correctly. The average VJ processing is based upon a limited pool, so don't get wound up--as I have. This is why I hated my statistics class, the only real take away I got from that class is that statistics can say whatever.

In our instance it gives the impression of a false average. Which is very depressing for those of us who are not 'average'. Gives the impression there maybe something wrong.

That is why I pulled every 129 I could find from the USCIS database with the same date as mine (150). 30% processing rate as of today (Saturday), and so there are 70% still untouched (not looked at other than at the lockbox).

Hope that helps quell any anxiety---doesn't for me... :clock:

Congratulations for all those November filer who got their Noa2.. Im not sure if Im correct but it seems like they slowed down processing of NOA2 for Philippines.. I did a timeline search for Philippines with NOA1 date of Nov 01-10, and only 2 out of 11 got their Noa2. I see Noa2 approved from other countries with Nov 09 Noa1 date.

You will have yours by the 18th next Friday at the latest or your money back...well you never paid me any money haha...so if I'm wrong then my bad.

Hang in there.

We are swimming in the same river of thoughts. Having over 25 years of management experience, I am well aware that productivity slows down around the holidays. There are vacation days, sick days, parties to plan/attend, and other distractions at the workplace associated with the holidays. I am reasonably certain that the same holds true for government employees.

My fiance told me she was no longer interested in what the estimated NOA2 date is. As for me, I look at it once or twice a day. Okay, maybe more than that. Yes, she is the smart one between the two of us.

If making a timeline was a requirement at registration, perhaps there would be a more accurate science to this madness. Even then, members would have to actually fill in their timelines. As you said, VJ processing is based on a limited pool.

The two approvals I saw failed to make a timeline :bonk:

 "My fiance told me she was no longer interested in what the estimated NOA2 date is. As for me, I look at it once or twice a day. Okay, maybe more than that. Yes, she is the smart one between the two of us."

We are definitely two peas. I worked in the government world, both as an employee and then as a contractor, for 20+ years. It is always the same every year. Starting with Thanksgiving up until the first business week of January little to nothing is done. :crying: No matter how important the project. But even knowing doesn't help.

I was told from the start by my fiance to not stress. It will happen, and she is not going anywhere. She is so dang patient for everything. Most certainly the smart one. I check every hour, or more during the week...the disadvantage of living in the 21st century with these smartphones--love and hate relationship with the phone. This is like watching grass growing.

As her cousin told me, all has a beginning and an end.

Interesting i had read that these service centers are funded by applicant fees.. $340 for I-129. how much would people out there be willing to pay to have the petition portion expedited? $700 for 30 days Guaranteed ? $1,400 for 2 weeks guaranteed ? $3,000 for 48 procesing? If RFE then you are back in line with the others also The only guarantee is that they review your case not that it is necessarily approved . No petitions to be approved today or tomorrow so thought I would throw this out there to pass the time.

I'm in for the 48 hour, and I'd accept 5 business days at that price. Bargin...

I'm nominating tyler for the newly created USCIS marketing position! Sign me up for the 2 week program. Being that my early Christmas gift was a layoff... I'm on a budget. However, I would sweeten the pot with an additional $500 to keep my place in line (no delays) in the event of a RFE.

Haha I would definitely pay!! At least the 30 days guaranteed. ?

I have a question for you guys if anyone knows, would having lived in the states earlier, under an F1 student visa and working with a permission after graduating for a year, make it more likely to get an RFE? I'm really wondering now if that can make the process any slower if they do need any more info. On the application they don't ask for any of that information, we just touched on this on our letter of how we met.
