I wonder if we'll start seeing this delay in our estimated processing times :'(

Well I was watching the news this morning on another matter. I stumbled upon Fox they had a commentator stating that DHS should initiate an immediate 2 month ban on ANY immigration until "safety" checks were put in place to prevent San California K-1 couple slaughter from ever happening again.

Good story indeed. Thank you Rwoods.

Interesting statistic that 36,000 K-1's approved and only 600+ denied. That means 98% get through.

I'm thinking the Embassy/Consulate layer removes another 5% or more but who knows.

Well there must be a state out there for that as well.

Bottomline I feel a bit better about everything after reading that article.

oops I stand corrected. I reread the article it said 36,000 K-1 visas "ISSUED" in 2014 so even after consulate review it's only 2% denial rate.

I've been keeping myself busy today.

I have a spreadsheet for the I-129F petitions between WAC1690XXXXX and WAC1690XXXXX, all received on Nov 2.

There were approximately 4905 cases received on Nov 2, all types of visa applications. The approximate is because some Oct 27 files got mixed in, typically I-765. Petition number for Nov 2 start at 4720, and end at 9625.

As of 10:10PM tonight 43 I-129F have been approved, 106 are awaiting review, and 1 has a RFE, 2 returned for no signature, and 1 withdrawal.

So 31% of the cases I found for Nov 2 have been reviewed.

Most certainly it is not first in first out. Some of the smaller numbered files were reviewed yesterday, while some larger number ones were reviewed in Nov.

I'd post the spreadsheet, but I have no idea how to do it.

Yes, I have no real life. That don't start until my better half arrives....so till then Jaime is a dull boring number cruncher.

Jaime is the name on my birth certificate, but in French speaking countries I'm called Jim, or James. I don't really respond well to "yo" or "yeah you"....
