I put our petition in a 3-ring binder with plastic sleeves, as well! And also those special plastic sleeves for photos, in which we included 15 labeled ones of. When I scanned everything again once we completed the packet to make copies, we had over 70 pages of info (yeeeeeesh). But, wanted to be safe than sorry, and of course this included all translations of documents from Mexico. Hoping all this work will pay off, and not get an RFE *fingers crossed.*

Nicely done. Fingers crossed for us all. I tried to put myself in the shoes of the person reviewing the information. Besides having the required documentation and a well put together packet... the thing that stood out in my mind was proving a bona fide relationship.

Visa Journey has been a huge help

I see a lot of RFE's because of missing Letter of Intent, missing passport photo's, and missing signatures or not having the original signed documents. Like you, I went over mine countless times and tried to view it as they would see it. Even had friends look at it.

It would be interesting to see the different ways that others put their petition packets together. I used a 3-ring binder with plastic sleeves... pretty much copied a video on youtube. It worked for him

Official Word on how to assemble your package for mailing. Yours worked and that is a good thing but for others this is the recommendation.

http://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing

•In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

◦Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

◦Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

◦The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

◦Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

◦Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.
