I totally agree!! I think that would make for a great book.

Right? I was thinking a good movie but even as a book it would be a best seller especially because it based on a real life story!!!

it shows love conquers all. When she lost her phone and you didn't have contact with her , she still waited for you. It just shows how great love is and how much she loved you and she waited for you!!!!!!!

Not completely true on my part. Didn't actually 'lose' the phone. Father took it away (destroyed it).

1) She's Muslim--I'm Catholic

2) Comes from a 'old world' family where father arranges the marriage

Luckly she has a rather 'tough' personality, and her father loves her enough not to have had her stoned for going against him. I think her bringing home a good bit of money from her projects (she's an old lady now, and doesn't model any longer) also played apart--that is the cynical me talking.

He met me, and from what I have found out from her male cousins who are 'new world', he likes me. And now I am approved. The religion thing isn't as big any longer. I participate in Ramadan, she attended Mass, and she has lite candles at the Church to help us--no big deal.

Told you, there is a lot lot more to this story......

Is this the right way?":
I put my Receipt Number in the 'Check My Case Status - USCIS' website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do)',and it should say whether I've got an RFE coming?

Even so the most important is that you are together you love each other and can't wait to start your lives together. The only obstacle right now is that pesky NOA2!!

I introduced her to the priest at the Catholic Church who 'counseled' us on how to live a happy marriage with two religions in the home. He didn't say she 'had' to convert.

I've got a letter from him in my Petition package as a witness to our 'relationship'.

I recommend getting the USCIS app for your phone. As soon as anything is entered on your file it will show up there. If it works...

I can relate being that I was raised in a strict Catholic family... My grandfather on my father's side was Irish Catholic and grandmother was German Catholic... YIKES!!!

You know in my country there is a "holiday" on december 5th at night Saint Nick brings some present to all the good little boys and girls( you have to clean your boots and put it in the window ok thats off toppic) either way I ask Saint Nick to bring all the good boys and girls here on November fillers especially the early November their Noa2 to by tonight!!!
