some positive news that raises my expectations, along with my blood pressure and stress.

The dates have changed on my timeline over the past 3 days from expected adjudication of Dec 5 to Dec 4, now to Dec 3!

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between December 3, 2015 andDecember 5, 2015*

Haha yes i love this group

Me too! Congrats and can't wait to join you!

Another question...if you do get an RFE, does it usually happen soon after NOA1? Or could it be weeks/months later?

My expected timeline NOA2 date (Dec 2, and now Nov 30) is passed but I'm still hopeful everything will be ok and I will get my NOA2 soon inshallah. Wishing everyone luck and fast approvals.

Have you checked for your approval on uscis website?

Right after Noa1.

After reviewing your petition they make a decision and the update is almost instantaneously done.

Approved or Noa2

That eases my nerves. If they don't send you a RFE right away, we shouldn't expect one on the mail? Generally speaking?

Hi is the DATE on your NOA 1 Nov 17 or is that just when you got it in the mail?

Timeline should reflect the date on the letter of the NOA 1

Congrats.

welcome.

NOA1 is the receipt of the petition. Now you are pulling for the NOA2 to happen with no minor RFE detour (request for additional information). NOA2 means your petition is approved and being moved along to be sent to the Embassy to go to interview, a little more goes into it but that is the short version of what happens.

I suggest starting your timeline, and adding some info about country etc. This Visajourney web site gives projected dates of each step based upon everyone's information, pretty cool.

The receipt date as found in notification email is 13th november. But the noa1 mail or notice date is 17th. Thus i put 17th as my noa1 date.
