:wow: Your just beginning the process and you are nervous? You have a long way to go, and at each step of the way there is a possibility that you will incur a hiccup delaying you some. It's normal. You can control only what you can control. There are lots of tools out there that can help you to relieve your anxiety. If you have a smartphone get the phone app. Every time your records get "touched" you will receive a text message from the app. The experience that people have had with the app is that it notifies them sooner then the "official notification" but only by hours. That will lesson your anxiety somewhat. Also go to myUSCIS and register there and get updates. Both of these tools are free.

Good luck and relax. You are going to find that this is a waiting game and the better you are at it the better your journey.

Hi there I've been following this forum a while now and it's very enlightening and helpful

We just received our NOA1 after 7 days we sent it.my question is that if we are gonna be able to track our case through the USCIS website from this day we received it or we are gonna have to wait a certain period of time?because we just tried and they say the number doesn't exist

2015-12-18 NOA2 Email/Text/USCIS app notification

2015-12-24 NOA2 hard copy

2016-01-08 NVC case number

2016-01-12 ​Case sent to consulate

2016-01-14 Consulate received case

2016-06-29 Medical part one

2016-07-01 Medical part two (passed)

2016-07-11 Interview at USEM- APPROVED

2016-07-16 Received Visa and Passport

We just received our NOA1 after 7 days we sent it.my question is that if we are gonna be able to track our case through the USCIS website from this day we received it or we are gonna have to wait a certain period of time?because we just tried and they say the number doesn't exist

same here but then I re-read the email and it states

"We suggest you wait until you have received your Form I-797 before checking My Case Status."

Are you using this website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

same here but then I re-read the email and it states

The noa1 is your I797 form. Same thing.

I believe the email means when you receive the physical NOA1 instead of the text message/email that way it gives the Service center and the website to update the information.

Good to see noa1 being processed this week. No slow up. Very good.

I've only had one noa2 hyperventilation episode this week. ? I think I still am recovering from jet lag, so too tired to be stressed.

hey guys.. following this thread for a while now.. n happy to join.. sent our i-129f on 16th this month... it ws recieved on 20th... got our noa1 today.. going to california... looking forward.. thanks
