Welcome EE&MY.

Congrats on getting your packet out. There are some wonderful (and knowledgeable) people on this forum.

Good luck

Thank you! And yes, this forum has been amazing so far....I don't know how I would have managed to get everything in order without it. And it's sooo nice to have a support system here through all the agonizing waiting and everything else involved in the process.

Good luck to you too. :)

Hi everyone, so excited to finally get to join this group/topic....after waiting FOREVER for the mail to arrive from Turkey, it finally came yesterday. Stayed up late checking every little thing for the 1000th time, and officially sent our I-129F packet out today!

I know now the waiting game just begins again....but what a relief!

So nice to have this forum where people understand...good luck to all of you. :)

Hello, welcome to the group.. You have come to the right place that is for sure.

Did you sign up for E-notifications when you sent in your form to USCIS?

Did you put "I-129F" on the outside of the envelope?

If you haven't already go to www.uscis.gov and sign up for case status.

Once you get your NOA1 you can track your case.

Apparently they will send notifications if there are any updates but I've yet to see any.

The other guy that was approved in 12 days was also from Haiti. I guess if the beneficiary is in Haiti the case gets bumped to the front.

Ok I was wondering what was going on there.

There should be a tracking system for which country your I-129K is for if that is the case or is Haiti the only place that is quick?

New new newbie here- so I'm filing from MA.. Sent the i129-f on 11/23. From what I understand most of us are going to Csc and they're sending out noa2 in 1-2 months? Please someone confirm if this is the trend for recent k-1 filers... I've been reading all morning about how terrible Tsc is and I was getting so nervous.

:wow: Your just beginning the process and you are nervous? You have a long way to go, and at each step of the way there is a possibility that you will incur a hiccup delaying you some. It's normal. You can control only what you can control. There are lots of tools out there that can help you to relieve your anxiety. If you have a smartphone get the phone app. Every time your records get "touched" you will receive a text message from the app. The experience that people have had with the app is that it notifies them sooner then the "official notification" but only by hours. That will lesson your anxiety somewhat. Also go to myUSCIS and register there and get updates. Both of these tools are free.

Where to get them? Use the links in my signature box below.

Good luck and relax. You are going to find that this is a waiting game and the better you are at it the better your journey.

OMG i cannot believe it i just got email my case is approved!

Congratulations on receiving your NOA2. The journey continues.

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Haiti.

Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the US Embassy - Haiti. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Haiti most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Link: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/153-caribbean/

Get the Haiti K-1 Embassy instructions at http://ethiopia.usembassy.gov/visas/fianc-visas-k/k-1-fiance-/-k3--spouse-visa-appointment-checklist.htmlas this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for you country so that you are up to speed.

http://haiti.usembassy.gov/fiance_visas.html

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages

Also, can you complete your profile so that we know what country your are processing from. This will help others to help you quicker in any questions you may have when posting here on VJ.

Go to the top right of this page select your name>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". In your case select the country and that it.

There now we can better serve you.
