Thanks. I like your style of answering questions. So many people don't know how to give direct answers in life in general. Many times I ask people direct questions and they answer something I didn't even ask. Lol

Here you go a film clip on answering questions scientifically

Fiance will be here Friday. ??? how's everybody doing

Hey, everyone! Arrived back in Rio yesterday, tomorrow I'll do my medical exams (blood test + X-ray + doctor appointment) and get a new copy of my birth certificate. Tuesday will be the D day, my interview!!!

I'm so scared of forgetting a document. I think I got too many documents, and copies of everything, I'm kinda paranoid with all the stories I read of people whose interviews were postponed for forgetting documents. That wouldn't be cool, to say the least.

So happy to hear all the happy endings of you guys!!! Ours is soon, too =)

Hopefully by the end of April we will be a married couple of kikis!

i know exactly how you feel. And no matter how organized I tried to be, I still missed one copy. It is okay. The embassy staff were very helpful, when I asked nicely---more like pathetic look on my face of being lost and desperate.

I'm sure you'll do much better than me.

Do not open the sealed medical report, that will be asked from you during the interview process.

When they released the medical results, that is a GOOD result and you passed the Medical.

Just got home from my medical exams... everything went beyond smoothly, and that calms me a lot for tomorrow, the interview.

Met a nice couple, he was from PA and she was from Recife, which is pretty cool.

Feeling scared for tomorrow, but way more relaxed after today. :dancing:

Hi everyone, just wanted to get some feedback about the time approved apps are making it to the visa center. Is it taking the whole 30 days? Thanks

Naw, that's just the scripted answer they give you. Back in the day it was taking about 10 business days to get the case number. Some people took maybe a few days more. After that, within 1-3 days the file will be sent off to the embassy. NVC is pretty much just a middle-man for the fiancé visa. They receive the file, give it a number, and send it away.

Just keep calling. Wait about 10 business (not calendar days necessarily) days from the time you get your NOA2

Good luck!

I've had my medical last week Thursday in Amsterdam and it went smoothly as well. But on the same day I received a phone call from the consulate that they hadn't received the fee for the interview yet  When I registered for my interview online I didn't receive any payment details so I assumed I could pay the fee at the consulate on the date of my interview. Several calls and emails later we found out that there seemed to be a 'technical' problem with my account so I had to register again, received the payment details, payed the amount and last Saturday I received an email that the original date for my interview, the 17th of March, was still available :innocent::D

I just called this morning as today marks the 10th business day since I got the NOA2, they still don't have it on file. I'm going to call back Friday and see if I get an answer.
