WAIT seriously? how do they get your info?? that is creepy lol....do they pay you?

Came in a private message through VJ. I bet it is just a fishing expedition. They through our a net, and see who they can catch.

I will check to see what are the details, but I am pretty sure there is enough stress in my life. It maybe good for Aisha, but me no.

Congrats...I can only imagine how amazing that must feel! :dancing:

I just told my fiance the news. She said, "My heart is beating fast". Her grandmother was there and told me, "Prepare for the future very well, because she deserves a life of a queen" lol. This process is so long and we wait and wait and wait that I think when the time actually comes and we get approved, it feels unreal. We are both in a daze right now in almost disbelief....this is actually happening. It is like we have life in us again, we can start to plan with some certainty. Still will be 3-4 weeks before she arrives, and I will be counting every hour. :clock:

13 Days (Ethiopian Time)

Minor paper bag incident. I call today with cousin (lawyer) and ask about when they will go to the medical. He tells me he is waiting on the letter from the Embassy that directs this action. I tell him the schedule and the checklist letter they sent is all that is needed. He tells me he spoke to "someone" that said the Embassy has to schedule the medical.

I tell him to trust me, I know. But to verify with Habesha14's fiancé who completed the medical earlier this week. Good lawyer should always verify, so no harm no foul. I asked him to call immediately, because we have 7 working days left till the interview---minor paper bag for me.

He does, and surprise, I am correct--I hate when that happens.

I gave detailed instructions on photos, papers to take, and the timeline. He is really good, and working hard to help get us through all of this. breath, breath, deep breaths....all is okay

90 Day Fiance show information

Here is what they sent me when I responded:

________

If chosen for the show, we usually start filming when the international partner lands in the U.S. and follow the couple up until they get married, but we do not film for the full 90 days of the visa. A small crew would come to your location 4-5 days every couple of weeks depending on the wedding timeline, and other events that are occurring within your daily lives.

Couples are compensated for their time (although the amount is not determined yet) and we film all big events, for example, the arrival in the U.S., settling into the home, meeting family and friends, wedding planning and anything else you deem significant.
_______

The coordinating producer wants to speak with me about the next step.

Two of my cousins, twins, are on the show "Marry Me in NYC" (http://www.wetv.com/shows/marry-me-in-nyc/videos/marry-me-in-nyc-episodes-1-2-sneak-peek my plug for family). I asked them if we should move forward.

Their words of wisdom, summed up in one word "No".

It could jeopardize our relationship. Being that I am already a wreak, I think they are right--no need to add that stress to our already stressful life.

Jaime, thanks for the lil' shoutout for my fiancé. Even though we completed the medical, we are both nervous. Really hard to concentrate on school right now. Had to give a speech today for class and forgot until 15 minutes before. Graduate School + Fiance Visa Process = Bad Combo
