Does the nvc notify us that they received our case or do we just call all the time to find out?

Just call all the time. Start calling 10 business days after your NOA2. If you really want to have fun, call once in the morning, and then again in the evening.

This morning at 03:38 I nearly, probably did, experience a heart attack.

I am sooooo easy a mark it isn't even funny.

I would have pretended to have tears and yelled "Oh no, what did you do? Why did you do that? I just cancelled our petition 10 minutes ago, what do we do now?

Feels good to get even.

With my luck, I'm gonna get that one guy that's finally gonna break.

Guys gonna be like :

Guy from NVC: "You want your case number? I got your case number right here!"

Supervisor in the back ground: "Charles calm down!"

Guy from NVC: "No No I've had it up to here with this --"

* Hangs up *

Later in the day

CNN.COM headline : Man holds co-workers hostage in NVC after receiving call.

*knock on my door*

It's the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, Sheriffs Dept.

*Sir, we just want to "talk" about that....... phone call"

Me: yeah... I just wanted my... NVC case number...

Agent in the background yells "You heard him! He wants nuclear launch codes! Take him down!"

Me: "no wait I said --" *get tackled*

*Win a free trip to Guantanamo Bay Cuba*

I hear the really bad guys are being set free at gitmo :protest:

Update: Breaking news. Rumor has it there is now ample room at gitmo for NVC Attitude Violators. Officials announce they already have a charter inmate in mind. Story at 10.
