I've been thinking about how easy everyone has had it in the interviews from our group. And how I want for ours to hurry up and get here. Then tonight as I was preparing my chilli for our company chilli cookoff tomorrow

Followup on the Chilli Cook Off--- I won :wow: A field of 11, including the corporation CEO

I had a feeling I could cook pretty good, although Aisha doesn't know it. I let her think I can't cook, clean, etc. :secret:

I toned down my Chilli a lot because I know normal people can't hang with me, but it still was near to much for most people-- But they cleared the crock pot :)

@sandm

even though they only ask for one year, I think it's not bad to have 3 years of tax transcripts, as available from the irs (I don't have the link, but Google is your friend) especially if you are even slightly concerned about finances, wands also if employment has changed recently. recent paystubs and letter from employer are also very good, to show stability and security of income.

the underlying goal is they want to know that the petitioner is reliably employable with a good secure source of income and the immigrant fiancee will not become a ward of the state.

Thank you, yea I understand but 2014 was the first time he did taxes he was just a student then and in 2015 too,

so 2015 was the first year he made over the 125% which is what they ask and then this year like I said he is making a lot more....that's why we only want to include previous year like they asked on packet-

do you think it will not be enough? ???

What if a co-sponsor is needed, how many of the tax returns from the Cosponsor is needed?

This is a Sir Greenbaum question.

I know that the tax returns are not required for the I-134, or any proof of support. The I-134 is very specific on what is required.

My impression was that the tax returns are part of the later AOS. But the consulate, as part of due diligence checks to make sure the petitioner has filed. This is more to prove the petitioner is up to date with paying federal taxes, and compliance.

Got our NVC letter in the mail today, but both of our names are wrong. I posted a new topic about this, but has anyone here seen this on their NVC letter? It's ridiculous because up until now, it's been right. Both NOA's and when I called into the NVC they had the right names. I'm panicking

We also are only using 2015 taxes since packet only says previous year tax nothing else. And the extra things like letter of employment that we will add and pay stub. Hopefully this is enough

Don't forget the W2s.

Why do when do will do? Why 3 years, why not 5 years. Or maybe 10 years just to be safe. There is no need to do more than what the Embassy your processing through ask for.

Hi Guys.. We need your help. We dont know where to file the form I-134. Thank you so much for your help.

That goes with you to the interview along with the required I-864 we suggest that you complete the I-134 (and supporting documents; tax return-current year 2014, W-2 and one month of pay stubs) for Evidence of Support.

As long as he can show that he is above the poverty line for his household size, then it will be enough. Everyone is over thinking this process. Just submit what is required by your Embassy no more or less.

Same thing for the co-sponsor. If you have the most current document that's requested and it shows you are over the poverty line neither you or your co-sponsor needs to submit anymore tax documents. They are not that concern about your finances, just that you meet or surpass the poverty line. Don't over think this process it's not necessary.

Relax. It's not a big deal.

Your names and address are written by a "person" and it's for the mailing of your NOA1 and NOA2. If you look you probably will see it correct on NOA1 but wrong on NOA2 or vice versa. It doesn't matter.

What matters is that the actually visa that they put inside your passport is CORRECT. If not that is the time to react. Now breath deeply and stop overthinking the process.

Sir Greenbaum, perhaps this is Filipino thing regarding completion of the I-864 as part of the K-1 submission?
