Have you finished the DS-160? That should be ready to go now.

Once you have the case number you fill in that blank in the DS-160, and submit. No waiting to fill it out.

Then you go online to set up DHL, and payment arrangements---easy. Go pay at the bank, and then within 2 days (maybe faster) you will have the payment number.

Then you schedule. So you can have a schedule date as early as next Friday. Which means medical/police the following next week.

You can be done in 2 weeks--from now. Just waiting on the interview date.

Ready, Set.....Goooooooooo

i did fill the ds-160 but i cant schedule the interview since its not shipped to the embassy !!? am confused now jaime ur help plss !!!

Here is something else that might help.

http://nigeria.usemb...visa_forms.html

Fiance/Fiancee visas (K1s, K3s)

If your K1 or K3 petition has been approved by the Department of Homeland Security and you have received notification from the National Visa Center that your petition is on its way to post, you should download and complete the following application. The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos will contact you when your petition has arrived at post so that you may schedule your appointment. If you have questions, you may e-mailLagosIV@state.gov. [Click to open "Interview Preparatory Packet (K1, K3)"PDF 539KB] Also, please review the pamphlet Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa. (PDF 53KB)

Thanks a million

Of course.

When you get the case number you can submit the DS form. Then you can make arrangements to pay the bank. You can not schedule until you have paid. The computer system will not let you get past that point. So no worries, it tells you what to do (bilingual Aramaic and English)

It will take you a day or two to go pay. And it will take up to 2 days for the bank to process and forward to the Embassy. This means 4 business days--not including weekends. So by the time your visa payment is confirmed, the packet will be at the Embassy.

You will know when the case has arrived at the Embassy. You will track with DHL. No worries it will be really fast.

So just be ready. I wish I could move as fast as you. I am slowed up by my fiance's (and her cousin's) distance to Addis.

I hope that helps...please let me know if you have any questions.

I got the mysterious Packet 3 today in the my email. I sent a email to the embassy last week asking for instructions on what to do next (actually sent 3, so maybe they are annoyed a little). Here is the cover letter. The rest of the document is the normal checklist that we already know.

What it did say is that the vaccinations are required to be completed in advance of arrival in the USA for a immigrant visa. I do not know if that complicates anything in regards to vaccinations that are provided in series.

Date: 27 Jan 2016
