yeah when I got my birth certificate I ordered like 3 copies just to be sure, I sent one to uscis instead of a copy cuz my thinking was, I would rather spend the extra money and send certified copies than wait a few weeks in case of an RFE. So I sent certified copies of my divorce decree and birth certificate, I mean I'm glad they sent it back just cuz I know someone is looking at my petition, but now I have 2 copies of my birth certificate and my Fiance has the other.

At least it's not a RFE. I agree with you, you know they are looking at it.

Thank you Ted for the prayers, Jamie as well, and Tyler.

Tyler if I read correctly you had stated you had RFE for multiple filer how long did it take you since they acknowledged receiving what they asked to approving you?

I hope it is that straight forward and easy....But for some reason I think I have a way of making the easy to be complicated.

I am still waffling around with the idea that we'll get denied and I have to be ready to marry immediately and file that paperwork. I hate to plan that way. I rather plan for the approval. Go be with her for that, then fly out a day later. Come back in 2 weeks, and off she goes with me.

But to plan for the denial, I have to plan my flight out for a week out. Logistics is a nightmare..... Yes, I am complicating it. Where is that paperbag

I wish I could have posted sooner..

After reading through the forum last night and hearing so many excited and positive people I had a 'feeling' to check our case status (for the 10th time that day) and I almost didn't believe my eyes - CASE APPROVED. It must have went through very late in the evening ~7pm EST. :joy:

Also, I was surprised that even after 24 hours I didn't receive a text alert or email update. I know those options are nice, but there's nothing more reliable than going straight to the source and checking the website. Good luck everyone - it seems like they're working hard this week!!

Thanks everyone. No, I still plan to keep up with my fellow Nov filers in this thread. You all are too much fun, and I enjoy all the humor.
