Was the photo he sent the same size as yours?

I got my photo taken at walgreens as well so I don't that would be an issue!!

He sent a scanned copy of his passport photo, and I printed it at walgreens it was a little bigger than mine... I think the smallest I could do was wallet sized

It might be that, and it might be lighting, quality and etc. There's a whole page on the travel.us.gov website dedicated to accurate passport-type photos for visas. I'm worried about ours being an issue as well ?

It needs to be 2X2. In europe when you say you need pasport photos thwy give you smaller ones then the required one then here. My fiancee did the same the first one he sent were smaller then the required one. Then my lawyer said to send him to take the pictures again and to tell the person who did it to make it bigger then the pasport photots they make there and the required one is 2x2(51cmx51cm).

So do you think its not as much that the picture was sent to me and printed but more that it wasnt 2x2? So as long as I can get a 2x2 print that would be fine?

The other thing if you go to walgreens or cvs. Just ask someone to help you out with the printing and if they could cut it for you with that little cutting thing for passport photo they have which cuts it the right dimensions.

I read here somewhere on VJ that it needs to be 2' x 2" original photos. Have seen that on legal sites as well.

This is from USCIS:

Submit a passport-style color photograph of yourself and a passport-style color photograph of your beneficiary, with both photos taken within 30 days of the day of filing this petition. The photos must have a white background, and be glossy, un-retouched, and be unmounted. The dimension of the full frontal facial image should be about one inch from your chin to the top of your hair. Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print the name (and the Alien Registration Number, if known) on the back of each photograph.
I know they are very picky about wet signatures and originals. To me, a photograph is a photograph, and not a scanned image. The only photos that I sent scanned were of secondary evidence of meeting in person.
Maybe Greenbaum or Hank can chime in,

It was never an issue for us, i am the beneficiary, requested for a passport size photo of me. it was smaller than the passport size photo of my fiancé. His was more like a 2x2 picture. Petition got approved.
