Hello and Happy New Year to everybody here!

Have been following this fun-filled forum for a while now, never a dull moment in here...everybody's staying positive, which is exactly what we all need... the Law of Attraction does prove its theory ^_^

@tyler 007 & Ted&Janine

First off, congratulations on your progress :D

I noticed that your fiances are gonna go through the US Embassy in the Philippines as well. I'd like to ask if have you been able to access the February Calendar via online appointment ? When my fiance and I tried to review the dates, the whole Feb-March dates are blocked out...anyone of you's being shown the same? Do you already have confirmed interview dates set?

Thanks in advance!

I also noticed that. I am also trying to access the February schedule but seems that they are still letting the January slots be filled up. I don't know about it but maybe the GEBIUS GREENBAUM can tell us about it. ;)

Hi imekai! Thanks for the reply ^_^ Kinda feeling relieved cause I thought either I was doing something wrong or all of Feb-March had been taken, which my fiance said was impossible...

That makes more sense, now that I remember noticing there's still ample slots available for January.

If you don't mind me asking, when do you guys plan to schedule your medical & interview? :)

I have a question I want to know if it is a red flag if you are still carrying |our exhusbands last name and not the name on your birth certificate? Even though I did send in my divorce decree... will they questions my fiance abt it, when he goes to his interview?

I had a weird issue with that myself

in my divorce decree my ex-wife changed her last name to something she never had before but states "It was her name before marriage" which it was not as the i-129f wanted her maiden name which was again, something different, I wrote a letter explaining that this was a lie on her part to the court that was over looked and included a certified copy of our marriage license that showed what her true name actually was.

Hi first of all Congratulations!

I see you have over 40 posts here on VJ but I honestly don't remember seeing any of them on this thread so welcome.

Please tell us a little about your adventure so far if you like.

Tyler, thanks for the welcome. I have a lot of posts because this is my second I-129f application. My first attempt failed because my fiance scammed me. I lost thousands.. But lesson learned and I recovered from the heart ache and I'm back on my feet again. Daisy is from Legazpy and she is an angel from above. We were meant for each other and nothing can keep us apart.

Hi Everyone!!

Im not active in this thread but Im reading and loving reading this everyday. Im so grateful to see alot of encouragement and help from everyone.

I just want to share our case. We filed in Nov 02, Got RFE in Dec 29, Received RFE hard copy in Jan 04, and Sent the RFE reply on Jan 05. The RFE is about that criminal record box that we forgot to tick. We are hoping for approval next week.

Im 32 years old and my fiance is 41. I met him online in Aug 2014, and seen each other twice. And because we had RFE he decided to have a short trip back here in the Philippines for a week. We will celebrate his birthday together on Jan 29th.

Hey there. Nice seeing you on this page. I am planning to schedule appointment or medical and interview as soon as the READY status appeared on the CEAC site. We havent gotten the NVC letter though they said we can print screen that READY status showing the CASE NUMBER that will be needed for the medical. I am currently tracking some packets thru the DHL website. (tracking NVC-USEM thru DHL). :)

Welcome! And you are one of my Nov 2 family. You went 55 days before having your petition reviewed. How did you stay so calm? Or was it quiet misery.

Thank you for sharing the cause of your RFE. It was just an oversight, anyone could make. I bet it is annoying that they couldn't have RFE earlier for something that simple. But at least it is on its way, and you guys spend some time together at your home.

Thank you Jaime. It's not an easy wait, sometimes I worry and got jealous when everybody is getting approved and we are being left out. But it also helps that I see other people with the same situation as mine. I remember you getting approved in the 24th and I started to feel better because Nov 02 is already moving. Your updates on Nov 02 count and Erics graph really helps to feel that we are not alone.

We already predicted that tickbox because I read someone getting RFE because of that. We just didn't ecpect 55 days wait. His reply for the RFE is very simple he just tick that box and sign that 1 page paper about criminal record that they sent.

Hello Kay & Tony

NVC received our case this past Friday Jan 8. So it is still showing at NVC.

They should be releasing the February dates in another week or two... or as imekai said, when the January slots fill up a little more.

As long as you have the divorce decree at the interview, there should be no issues.

The calendars for USEM will only open up when the current month your in is almost fully booked. So as of now, Feb and March are hidden. I think it's safe to say that in the 3rd week of the month you can usually see it change. Keep looking is my best recommendation.

Oh, for everyone else also going through the Phil. USEM, please, feel free to share your thoughts

Thank you for the endorsement and kind words. They are truly appreciated. I don't know everything and not as much as Hank on some of the obscure visa questions but I am learning. Hank has been my mentor and we have a great relationship. The best teacher is you the ones who are going through the process. When you report back about your experiences, we learn from them. Thanks for sharing your journey.

And good luck and God's speed.
