Right after I posted I checked my status again. We got an RFE....Although I am upset a little, I am very very relieved that our case has begun to move forward!

That is great news. So they didn't lose it. I bet you could ask Greenbaum to help, or maybe this group if you want to get a help with that response.

Hi all, sorry I've been away from the board for a bit. I caught some virus while picking berries on the other side of the visa-Shire.

I noticed that too that this thread is HOPPING!

It's because of Jaime he is our catalyst - Thread Mascot...LOL

Those berries are just one part of the obstacles the K-1 opposition has stunned along our path. Part of trying to break us.

Nothing from NVC since. I have emailed, but I haven't tried calling yet, I think i will tonight.

I will be leaving to visit my Fiancee this month for Chinese New Year, so I'd like some confirmation before I go.

Hope and Faith is what life is built upon.

Let us know what you find out with the NVC. That seems like an unusually long time.

How long until we get an approval if we send the evidence as soon as we get the RFE letter? What's the estimated time?

Just make sure you send exactly what they request... the quicker the better. And as kikiyut said, two to three weeks after you send seem to be the norm. At least you are on their radar now.

2-3 weeks maybe more depending on what is asked and how it will be used to adjudicate your application.

Mine was the 24th and no receipt at the NVC today

My NOA2 is December 18 and they don't have my case yet either. Yet the Journey for us is moving much faster than we expected.

Lol my fiance has more patient than me. I asked him to call nvc everyday . Let see what the nvc said tomorrow
