By the way I was reading around here on VSJ!! And there was a couple who didn't recieved their NOA2 instead they recieved the letter from NVC that their case was on the way to the embassy. They checked the case number on ceac and said ready. Then they called USCIS on what's going on and they told them that their case isn't approve yet and not in the system. Then they called NVC which told them they got their approved petition and already sent it to the embassy. If I recall they were October filler. The manny mysteries of USCIS!!! :))

what I've read about RFE's:

your case is on the top of their stack so when they get your additional evidence they usually get it out the door pretty quickly. looking at timeliness it seemed like it's around 2 weeks total, depending mostly on how quickly you send it in.

1)Did you all got the mail(or e-mail) from NVC ?(because oftentimes people do not receive anything from NVC)

I got a letter from the State Department with my case number. They mailed it about a week after I called and received my case number. It was in my mailbox the same day my packet arrived in Bangkok.

First find a brown paper bag. Breath into it. That will help bring the freaking out under control...temporary relief, so keep the bag around.

After that, just tell us how you guys met.

Lol thanks, but i just cant help the feeling that they lost our app as more and more people who applied after us recieve their noa2. We met in miami through mutual friends and have been doing long distance ever since. I love him so much and dont wanna be apart longer than necessary but I am sure you all feel the same. is there anyone else in this group still waiting for their noa2?

We have similar timeines. We just got a RFE sent today so I think you're app will be approved soon. I prayed every night before I went to sleep to get an approval... and today we weren't that excited about the RFE but im trying to stay positive. Yaay finally our case is moving along this process :)

Jaime how long did it take for your case to get approved after you sent in the evidence ??

There are still a lot of people waiting with an NOA1 date the same as yours or even earlier...don't worry. Check Igor's list for the progress of filers around your date if it makes you feel better (scroll down until you find the November list): http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl=

We know how much it sucks, we're all in the same boat....this is our support group....welcome!

I'm sorry, I didn't get a RFE. Although I can understand how I left that impression. It was 50 days for my petition to be reviewed, and I hyperventilated a lot. Without this group, I probably would have resorted to drinking---restate, resorted to drinking more.

So very true. This is a great group of people, with an awesome overseer (Grand Greenbaum). Everyone is so supportive, and with full acceptance as you are....

Very cool. The way humanity should be towards one and another all the time.

 I had the same feeling. I was sure they had used mine for a mat at their Christmas party, and then it ended up in the circular file.

Tyler was the one who predicated, when I would get my NOA2. He has some sort of magical juju----He said I'd mine the week of Christmas. I got it Christmas Eve at 9:00PM...

I was (am) a nut case :girlwerewolf2xn: and this group kept me in one piece as I was waiting.------ :star::star::star::star:

Very cool story, sounds like a blind date that turned out over the top right  . In Miami. That is a great place.
