Hey guys!! haven't seen you since last year :goofy:

I want to ask those who have already got the NVC number.

1)Did you all got the mail(or e-mail) from NVC ?(because oftentimes people do not receive anything from NVC)

2) Or maybe you called them after 2-3 weeks?

Everyone who still haven't got theirs NOA2 - BE strong , it would happen sooner or later!

11.17.2015- sent petition
11.23.2015- NOA-1

01.12.2016- NVC received

01.17.2016- NVC case #

1. I didn't get any correspondence from them...yet...not sure if they will send anything at all; but I have been calling them at night typically, since by that time a whole work day has happened

2. I started calling 10 business days after my NOA 2...again...at night

We received a letter in the mail a week after the case left NVC. We also called them 2 weeks after the case was sent to them to get a case number, and they were very kind.

Whats next again after NOA2?

The bros at USCIS snail mail your file to the NVC. After a 10 business day wait you can start calling the NVC to 1. Verify that they have received the visa file and 2. Get your Invoice number thingee

Then with that invoice number, you will fill out DS-160 form online, pay the visa fee, and schedule an interview at the embassy

...I think

Hi All,

I just posted in the October forum but saw this one is more active and welcome to us.

I've been reading things on the site for a few days and I literally left work early to join.

Congrats to all who have had success so far.

Here's my timeline:

I-129F sent 10/22/2015

NOA1 10/26/2015

NOA2 11/23/2015

Nothing from NVC since. I have emailed, but I haven't tried calling yet, I think i will tonight.

I will be leaving to visit my Fiancee this month for Chinese New Year, so I'd like some confirmation before I go.

Searching for comments, questions, answers, advice. Mostly hope.

Thanks!

Sidequestion- How old are you guys, I feel like Im a little baby compared to all of you as I am turning 23 in 20 days :joy::oops: Me and my dear might be young but with big plans :)))

Hi all, sorry I've been away from the board for a bit. I caught some virus while picking berries on the other side of the visa-Shire.

I noticed that too that this thread is HOPPING!

It's because of Jaime he is our catalyst - Thread Mascot...LOL

Ok Ninetails - She is 25 and I'm 48 going on 21.

Well I have been trying to confirm for days if US Embassy (Manila for us) received our file from NVC.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

I kept plugging in the MNL number but nothing.

Then finally I decided to select "Immigrant" instead of "non-immigrant" and sure enough even though K-1 is a NON-immigrant visa it popped up as "READY" Creation Date 12/29/15

It said go forward with medical and pay the visa fees etc.

The visa amount said $240 which is incorrect as here it says $265 and that is what we paid for her and again for her son.

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-visafeeinfo.asp

Hope we paid the correct amount.

I see the Visa Journey NOA2 - Hyperbag is still making its rounds.

Hang in there people.

Tyler
