Called NVC tonite. Gave me the 35 day script answer, but I used my extra nice and cheerful voice ( I can only imagine the number of impatient, demanding, and rude people they deal with) and asked if she could confirm that they have, in fact, received my file, which she confirmed that they have. So here's to hoping they enter the info and send it away to my beloved country, Nicaragua!

Let that be an encouragement to others who got their NOA2 around the time I got mine!

Good info. Gives me an idea when to start pestering, ahhhh, inquiring about ours. Believe it or not, I've been patient, not called once since the 24th of Dec...I should get some sort of gold star for that.

Note to Self: 1) Be very suave and debonair--use latin charm when speaking to NVC. Try Ricky Ricardo, or Ricardo Montalban impressonation.

Just got approved!

Great News!!!!

How are you tracking these things? Do you have an app?

I'm using the phone app. I didn't take it off my phone. You can load as many petition numbers as you want, so I've got 30 cases around my number. I'm getting rid of it tonight, every time I see a message from USCIS my heart skips a beat. I'm still half expecting them to tell me there was a error in the approval.

Case just got approved! Thank you everyone! This is a happy new year indeed! ??? Thank God!

Wheeeeeeeee.

Hello. Congrats to those whose case has been approved. Here is just a quick question. We are at the stage of collating and trying to mail our petition, I would like to know what was used to send the whole packet, I have close to 1000 pages of both our forms and evidence. Please can you tell us the kind of envelop or folder you used, and what and what was really used? Your reply would be highly appreciated. Thanks

You posted in the Phil sub forum but here is the answer to your other question concern the requirements for St. Luke's

St. Luke's doesn't want "the letter" from USEM, they want a copy of the interview confirmation letter/email/webpage printout, OR the NVC letter OR a screen print from CEAC with your MNL#.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

. What is the letter from NVC they want for medical at st lukes. CEAC site doesn't say ready yet so should we wait ?

Day 43 here. So jealous of those being approved within 25 days. Really hoping today is our day.

you and me are the same, my NOA1 says it was received the 23rd but on the hard copy it's dated the 25th but we are practically the same. Still waiting also

So upset, Want to throw up. I submitted everything perfectly to USCIS, went over everything multiple times, Just received RFE

I'm sorry to hear that. What was your RFE for if you don't mind sharing?

Most important thing is now is to collect the data they are looking for and send it to them following their directions contained within the RFE to the LETTER. Don't want to have additional problems piled on this little setback.

Oracle Greenbaum or anyone... I called NVC again. And it seems that because i am not the petitioner everyone just keep on saying "give us 30-45 days then we will notify you." Does that matter? My fiance is just busy fixing all the stuff before i get there. He has no time waiitng so i am the one doing the call.

Thanks

That is their standard response, "give us 30-45 days then we will notify you". You can call everyday or twice a day or thrice a day, what ever will calm your little heart. Keep calling but I would only call once a day. Best time with little or no wait time is 7:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Usually you can get through in one or two rings. Wait 5 minutes and your on hold.
