I called and got to speak to tier 2. First thing i heard was someone yelling out a name and then hung up. I called again and got transfered to tier 2 again. Put me on hold for like 5 min then said that they just received this case a month ago blah blah and they dont know if the case has been assigned to an officer blah blah blah. Keep in mind that processing times are 5 months. Call within 30 days if we dont hear anything.

Bottomline: None of them are helpful. What's frustrating is, we cannot even plan whether we should see each other again if it's gonna take forever anyway or if it will just be a complete waste of money going back and forth if we get approved sooner. ??

Anyway, im still hopeful. Love will prevail ☺️

I feel your pain, they are not helpful. But I do think since your case is with CSC it will be approved sooner than later! If it was in texas I would advise to definitely see each other soon but I have a feeling you will get it soon! Probably next week the latest.

I completely agree with Sandminlove.

And yeap, people in USCIS wont help you. I've heard lots of people (especially who had their cases in Texas Service Center) even asked for help of senator and they tried to find out something about their cases after 7 months of waiting - NONE RESULT. So just wait, my NOA1 was the same as yours 11/23 but last days I was 95% sure we would have NOA2 in January 6-8.. I wanted our approval as soon as possible of course, but worry-no.

!

Everything's gonna be alright!!

Thank you all for your support. I have been following this timeline since day 1 and I'm just sitting in the back being happy for people getting approved left and right and tell myself yes! It's moving. But now me and fiancee are growing very very impatient!! It actually feels so much better to know that there are people who are going through the same pain and the support is overwhelming here.

Praying for all our NOA2s today or tomorrow! ???

??? I am a bit confused about this. My apology, I am slow. How is seeing each other a complete waste of money? I'm sure that was a mis-statement.

Here is the advise from someone who is considered, even by this groups' standards, as a bit wacko, or at least touch in the head. If you have the chance to go, go. Don't worry about trying to time it with this silly process. It aint gonna happen. Any hoot, you are building the 'on-going relationship' proof, if you want to quantify it by $. It will save you $ in the long run because the K-1 will be approved that much easier.

I submitted my NOA1 and went before the NOA2 came. I'd just been there 3 months previous. Why? Because i missed her. And now I am ready to go back to attend the interview with her, and it won't be 3 months since I been there. And because she probably won't be seeing her family again for a year or two during the AOS period she's going to take 2 weeks after getting the visa to come--and I will go back to escort. Waste of $? In my opinion, no, it all part of this wonderous journey through the Visa-Shire we are all learning to call home---it still feels like walking on broken glass barefooted.

They have 4,000 plus visa applications being submitted everyday. They work on 'soft money' which means they have quotas. On top of that the media, congress, people who generally dislike immigrants are all attacking them everyday.

I--yes I do know the feeling of waiting. 50 days---at least not the 200 plus from those in the frozen waste land of Texas. I second guessed everything I submitted, I wondered if I had broken some law that I didn't know, is interpol got me on a list (I have travelled a lot, and gotten into disputes with important people), I didn't know what. But then a man of great insight came along---Tyler the Great---and predicted the date of my NOA2. And it came to pass.

All kidding aside. It is coming.

Try paper bags for hyperventilating. I used them constantly while I was waiting.

The same we do have- there is AN APPROVAL on the USCIS dated 29 of December!!! but still do not have the email notice! the best gift EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!!!! :thumbs::thumbs::star::star::thumbs::thumbs:

Yeah we do not have the same luxury as having work when I am a student and hes an intern and trying to save up money for moving here ?. Im trying to be more practical and be more patient. We will see how this process goes and decide from there. Still hoping for a speedy approval.

Ahhh, there is the difference. Practical (not having enough money) versus being a 'waste of money'. Two different concepts. Completely understood about the practical.

Perhaps because I have apparently (my guess) spent more time on this planet (another way of saying I'm older), I view time in a different way than most (younger people). I certainly do not have a lot of money, but I feel I have even less time. And so time becomes more valuable as it becomes obviously shorter; minus any unforeseen mishaps that may shorten one's timeline. As I am looking to start my first family (children) time becomes even more compressed, another story, back on topic. I've spent time, wasted it, not so long ago and so know that it is a commodity that can never be replaced And so I am more willing, and of course am able because she predicted (and somewhat inspired me) to get a job which does allow me more options than most. As money is simply a tool to get what one needs in life, I never view using money to be with the one person who has chosen to be with me as a waste.

Now if it were a choice between paying for books, or buying a plane ticket---of course books is what will enable a future life (much more available time) to be more enjoyable. Money is needed for that future house. A tough decision.

Now if the zombie apocalypse where to happen tomorrow, then I'm not sure the books would be so important....

Good fortune for you and yours....2016 will be a great year for each of us.

Crossing our fingers for some news soon! Our NOA1 was Nov. 30, but can't help the worrying and doubting D: Ready for the next wave of NOA2s!

They will not deny you. They will either approve you or request for evidence.

I'm hoping you both have good news TONIGHT or tomorrow.
