Ok, I promised I would not give anymore predictions as my crystal ball is a bit cloudy lately however since you are from the Hawaii the land of my ancestors I will make an exception...LOL

January 12th at the absolute latest you will hear "something" from USCIS. I know it's vague but all this Holiday Rum N' Nog makes the visions less clear.

I'm hoping for an even earlier NOA 2 for you but the money back guarantee is for 1/12/2016. (Jaime is my financial backer on this transaction....haha)

Tyler

Tyler, I need a prediction too! We have Igor's list and now also Tyler's crystal ball :)

hello to my fellow November filers!

we got noa2 on 8 dec. I am currently out of the country (creating more evidence of an ongoing relationship with my fiance!).

I have a question for others who have gotten noa2: how long did it take for you to get your nvc case number in the mail, or if you indeed got such notification. (i have someone checking my mail in the USA and I'm hoping to avoid the $30+ phone call to nvc. they've never heard of email?).

I guess I'm also wondering if I should bother: does having the number actually speed things up?

thanks and happy new year to you all

You have to go to the Embassy for US Thailand website and read the instructions <click here> on processing for your visa. Some Embassy's you need the case number to shave off 2 months of waiting so for them it's important (Philippines is one). So check their website <click here>. Yes you could be spinning your wheels trying to get a number that you may not need.

Ok Tyler I need a prediction from your crystal ball. Ask the ball what day I will be approved. Let the ball know that I predict the 30th of Dec. And let me know if our predictions are the same. Lol

No abisflores, because your consulate is in the Phillipines your wait time will be sooner than what Tyler predicted, but he did say his ball was cloudy. Hahaha

thanks for your reply Mr greenbaum, unfortunately the link you provided says at the top in red letters "NOT for fiance visas" and thus not applicable to my November 1 k1 petition.

maybe my question was not clear. I am asking members of the November k1 filers if they are receiving hard copy notification of their nvc case number, and if so, what the time frame is. I'm trying to get real world real time data from people in the same boat as me.

thanks so much!

Yup. Missed the LARGE print. I still recommend that you visit USET and find the information that answers your question because my reply was directed at your question "I guess I'm also wondering if I should bother: does having the number actually speed things up?" and not the hard copy question you had.

BUT, to answer the other question most will get a hard copy with their case number. If you don't, then E-mail: NVCInquiry@state.gov I highly recommend you email NVC for the case #, even if you call and get it, this will give you a correspondence from NVC with the case # for future reference. The email request for your case # is also a great way to track when your file is forwarded to USET as NVC will not reply to the email until that time.

I'm sorry that I am not a November K1 filer, but just the same, hope I have been helpful.

ah thanks mr g, you did in fact answer the second part of my question, sorry for not acknowledging that (and much thanks for your forum participation, which had already provided me a lot of good info even before you replied to my question!)

pardon my ignorance, what is USET? I'm doubting you mean the u.s.equestrian team, after all we are not horsing around with this visa stuff ha ha ha.

and to my fellow Nov 2015 k1 filers, still hoping to hear if anyone has gotten a hard copy of their nvc case number.

much thanks in advance

now, now. Exalted one, you are the grand poobah that speaks guidance and wisdom from up high. Suddenly appearing as if out of thin air when we the aimlessly wanderers of this journey through the dark woods of the visa shire post a question requesting assistance in order to keep us on track and giving us faith to continue on when all we see is darkness, and then slips away as silently as you appeared.

I salute you, and nominate you as a honorary November Filer. I drink to you :pop:
