So the ceas website says that our case has bee ready to begin scheduling interview since feb 27. BUT me and my fiance just found out that her address is incomplete so that's why she hasn't received the instructions on how to proceed.

Is this a huge problem? Can it extend the time by a significant amount? She called the embassy and they gave her an email address for the embassy to email the correct people of the problem?

Is their a reason why they can't just let us start the police clearance, medical check and interview without having the official instructions???

She called the embassy and they said it wasn't a big problem however I need to see it it believe it. ?

Thank you everyone for all of the support over the last few months, especially to those few who went the extra mile to deal with really making things as crystal clear as possible. I've been in Uganda and then me and eve flew to Kenya together, she had her interview this morning and has passed!!!

u can go ahead with pcc process but at medical they need to see the letter from embassy with ur case number on it... just call the embassy helpline and resolve the issue.. otherwise it could take a long time.. act on it mate

After all this waiting, I finally have a date to look forward to for my fiance to arrive here. She will be here on March 31st. We will be getting married on May 7th. These next 3 weeks are going to feel like forever! I am happy to start planning stuff though, that should keep me busy. All I know is when we are together, I will never take our time for granted.

I know what you mean, :clock:

Is there a thread for people who filed on Mars?!

Hmmm, I suppose not to early to start thinking about that. Would the beneficiary need to be a documented Martian, or would it be a person from earth who is just living on Mars? As Mars is not a recognized country as yet, where does the passport get issued? Would the interview take place there, or at a embassy in Washington?

Lots of questions, and few answers. could be very stressful.

Thank you everyone for all of the support over the last few months, especially to those few who went the extra mile to deal with really making things as crystal clear as possible. I've been in Uganda and then me and eve flew to Kenya together, she had her interview this morning and has passed!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You got any details to pass along? How about words of wisdom.

You're funny guy James. But too bad we were sent back and now we are thinking of applying again. Because the first one didn't have enough evidence. I mean one visit isn't good enough.now we have two visits. Knowing that the second one was during the interview,so I guess it didn't count on paper. Maybe they consider visits that made before applying not after.

Yep she emailed and called the embassy and they sent her an email with instructions. So we can proceed.

The email has our case number on it and it says that we can proceed with processing and its from a consular officer. Is that fine?
