Predators usually target people that are low risk or vulnerable. If this took place in a place that is predominately Islamic, then the catholic/Christian population would be limited. Meaning if they targeted Muslim children, they'd be open to more severe punishment. It's the same thing we see here, people sympathize with things that they can relate to.

My saddest reminder of this is that douche stain R Kelly. He's been molesting teens for decades now, but he'll never see the inside of the jail cell. A reporter wrote a story about this, and what made him more disgusted was the way the victims were picked. He only went after black girls. Not because of preference, but simply because he knew if he did a white girl like that, he'd never get away with it.

Not telling you anything. Just pointing out facts. Black men do get harsher sentencing, that's a known fact. Black victims get less sympathy, that's also a fact. Not to mention, there were a few girls that didn't settle, and this case went to court a few years ago. There is video evidence. I've seen it. And he still got acquitted.
