Hello,

I have been in the Philippines for over 6 months and got married 4 months ago. My wife and I are planning on direct filing in Manila. I have some questions.

# - Can someone who has direct filed through Manila please share time line and tips?

I know for the fiance visa a co-sponsor is not accepted but it is for the spousal visa? Right?

In terms of the initial petition and filing, What exactly do I need to provide?

In terms of co-sponsor, does my co-sponsor need to ship me the affidavit or can I use a copy? If shipped how to do so? I have not had good luck receiving mail in my location.

Last question: I am hoping to file the petition with in the next week or so and then I want to go back to the USA for 6 weeks. Once I file the petition am I able to leave for awhile?

Thanks!
