I just had a look on form i751, oh,

question n 20: have you ever committed crime....................i don't know how to answer this question,

I never committed crime, i never break the law never been convicted in my life, never been in trial........ something happened 2 months ago, let me explain it:

First ,On 2014 when i just came to USA , husband(sponsor) abused me , police take him to jail, there was Restraining order ect, case dropped, i love him, i didnt want to divorce , i knew i can move on and stay in USA, but i stayed with him, he smoke, drink, ect, most times he makes me mad because of his attitude, , then he apologize later, so since may 2014 to july 2015 he didn't change, 2 months ago he beat me again, i wanted to call the police he called them or he went to police station i don't know how he did it, when they came they take me somewhere! may be jail although i showed them the pictures of abuse after 6 h i was at the house, few days after the event they gave me paper that says no action taken, there was no charges, i still married to the husband , i think i will fill joint with him, i have 2 questions please, when i take look to the form i need to know how to answer 2 questions:

how to answer question 20:????? if i check yes i will looks like i broke the law one day is not? or i convicted crime< and this is not my case , should i answer no and submit explication?

if the correct answer to question 20 is yes, do i need to submit documents and proofs of last year case : sponsor (husband) is the abuser since last year or no need to submit anything from last year as long as i fill joint with him?

I don't know what is the good think to do, this question makes me feel like: i will looks like i committed crime, while i'm the one who suffered from DV the whole time and i have a lot of proofs, when he claimed the abuse on him he couldn't look at my face after whats happened he could t put Restraining order on me because he knows what he is doing and he know i was innocent , under the chock i still didn't think about my future with him, , this question remind me about what i tried to forget those last 2 months ,

Do you think guys i need immigration lawyer ?

a dont think u need lawyer you are still living and married 2 the husband , yes? if you want to fill joint file joint , so the question says: arrested, detained , convicted crime ...........may be the answer in your case is yes and explain , will see what the more knowledgeable members here will says ,

am not sure if you can submit proofs of your case from 2014 or not because you will file joint not as abused
