my wife came with a conditional visa. Condition removed at least a couple years ago. My stepdaughter has her interview schedule. Should I check IR2 or CR2 when scheduling her fingerprints and photos in DR. Is it correct she would be IR2 because wife no longer is conditional? stepdaughter is 16. I am petitioner a US citizen

There is another question related to the same issue. When my husband petitioned for my kids (his step-children). They were assigned CR2 and I was assigned IR1 when he petitioned even earlier. We are married over 3 years now but when I look at DS-260 online, it was never changed to IR2 and we have not had our interview yet. I was wondering if they are going to give IR2 visa to the children?

If you have been married for longer than 2 years then the children should get an IR2. Bring your marriage certificate to the interview and POE to be sure.

I just sent them all our documents again together with the marriage certificate as they require according to the instruction of the packet 3. Hopefully they will pay attention to that.

What visa they get doesn't matter; a CR visa can still get an IR green card. If they get a CR green card, then you can have it replaced for free because it's their error.
