I have a couple of questions, I have read contradicting info from previous posts about this.

My joint sponsor is filling out i864.

My joint sponsor files 1040 married filing joint, but we're only using her W2 earnings to satisfy the affidavit. Will also include tax transcript from IRS.

1) For "My current individual annual income": W2 line 1 from 2014

2) For "My total income (adjusted gross income on 1040EZ) as reported on my Federal income tax returns, for last 3 years."

This is the confusing one: If we enter the Total Income from the transcripts, the numbers are much higher than the individual sponsor's personal W2 for the last 3 years.

So, for 19a,b,c should we use the line1 from W2 for the last 3 years (its sufficient)? Or use much higher Total Income figures, which are high because it includes the spouses earnings whose name is not included on this I864 form.

1) For "My current individual annual income": W2 line 1 from 2014

It's the current annual salary of his/her curernt job, which may or may not be the same ask the gross income on their last W-2.

2) For "My total income (adjusted gross income on 1040EZ) as reported on my Federal income tax returns, for last 3 years."

That's fine.

No

Or use much higher Total Income figures, which are high because it includes the spouses earnings whose name is not included on this I864 form.

Yes

Thank you, can you explain exact meaning of this instruction.

If you provide a photocopy of your Federal individual income tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Do not include copies of these forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your Federal individual income tax returns rather than a photocopy unless you filed a joint income tax return with your spouse and are qualifying using only your income.

This is how I understand it:

If you filed a joint income tax return with your spouse and are qualifying using only your income, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns. Does this mean I have to aslo submit W-2 & 1099 of the husband on this tax return, although husband is not going to sign i864? Is that what each & every means?

If husband is not signing, then his items are not needed. They only want the signer's forms.
