Hi,

NVC advised me to find an additional sponsor (although my spouse meets and surpasses requirement of assets).

Although I think the immigration officer will find original i864 sufficient based on the proof of assets, I decided to have the plan B.

I have some questions, please chime in if you notice I'm forgetting something.

1) This new (additional) sponsor will fill out, sign a separate i-864. Will they consider both i-864s together or one in place of the other? (1st 864 is my spouse = sufficient assets) + this new 864 with sufficient W2 income?

2) Counting sponsor's household size on the new i864. This new sponsor has 1 dependent listed on their 1040. The sponsor has a husband. So, the Part 5, household size, will be 4? Does that sound correct?

According to poverty guidelines 125% it's $30,000 for family of 4. This person makes much more than that per year.

This should be marked as YES, is that correct?

3) I will take the following to the interview (in addition to all forms, including the original petitioner's original i864):

a) This new signed original i864.

b) This new sponsor's 2014 tax return transcript ordered from IRS & 2014 W2. Doing this only for 2014, NOT bringing 2013 & 2012

c) copy of this sponsor's bio page of Passport as proof of US citizenship
