But whats really the point in keep calling and hearing what they say everytime. Unless you get your mail in mailbox, nothing is good.

My husband called yesterday and they said they are working on sept 14th cases too, but we are sept 10 and i know many other ppl waiting from August end and Sept. So we are not going to call again, unless its too late and we still have nothing.

Hello,

Can I ask a question related to I130. We submitted I130 in 21st Sept 2015. It is more than 5 months but no result right now. What should we do? We called them on 15thFeb and was told to keep waiting.

When we submit I130, do we need to submit the financial statement? We did not submit this document and do not submit any documents to prove that my husband is working in a company right now. Is it affect my case processing?

Thanks!

Trang

Thanks

When I called earlier in the month around the firsr week of February a tier 2 officer told me they were working on August 12. Don't know why they need to lie. I guess they are working backwards lol

My husband and I requested a humanitarian expedite request of our 130 as travelling to my spouse's country is getting much more difficult and risky. I am here now and we have been harassed by the police continually since I arrived due to our religious beliefs. On top of that the situation is more volatile and the raise of terrorist activities against foreigners has increased tremendously. Our congressman requested the expedite request on our behalf and Potomac just replied a week later saying no. I understand, but at the same time I am so frustrated because my spouse is talking about me not coming back until he can come with me due to the violence and the neighboring country being on the brink of war. It's so frustrating to know that family reunification is so difficult, when it is a fundamental right given to United States citizens pursuant to the INA. I am venting and know I am extremely lucky to be with my spouse right now. But the thought of leaving him when I know how the police have treated us and I hope that the war does not spill over as much as they are predicting - it just makes me afraid.

Did they give a reason for the denial? I was also denied an expedite. They said not enough evidence. They did not ask me for or allow me to submit evidence even though I told them when I applied for the expedite that I had evidence. It just seems like there are a bunch of losers working at Potomac who don't seem to do much of anything. Almost no approvals ever.. this is getting ridiculous.

Hi Guys,

Patience is definitely the virtue of this game. I decided to check my mail like I've been doing for the past couple of weeks even though each time I've checked has always been a disappointment. Yesterday was no different. As I opened my mailbox there was only one mail and so I thought it would be from USCIS but nope. So walked away went to my apartment and just said to myself let me call USCIS even though I had given up calling them since all they did was frustrate my life. Thank you to the person that figured out how to get in touch with an officer instead of having to go through those script readers. I dialed 1 for English and then 87716 and then they called me back right away.

I said all of this to say that I have been approved. I did not believe it at first so I called again and another officer told me the same thing. They sent out my notice of approval February 23 which means I should get the letter in the mail by next week. They didn't say when I was approved but I guess when I get the notice I will know.

PD Sept. 25, 2015

Transferred to Potomac Nov. 9, 2015

Approved in almost 5 months

I wish everyone the best and trust me you will hear an approval soon.

Guys i just figured way to speak directly to T2 immigration officer without taking to custoumer service. When you call the USCIS number, (800) 375-5283, after select english or spanish, Hit respectively 87716. But after pressing a each number wait for the answering machine start talking and then you hit the next Number. It will eventually ask you if you wanna speak to an immigration officer "press 6",which is the final number. After selecting 6, It will then ask you if you wanna set up a call back, that is up to you. Couple of time it says wait time is one minute. By the time i hanef up I receive a call back.

I hope that help, cause custoumer service only read a script to you.

My PD is Oct27/15. She said it is pending. My case was transfer to potamac on Nov09/15.

@od0016- thank you so much for this helpful information. It saved me so much time and the frustration of listening to people read the same old scripts to me that I can find myself by checking on my case status on the USCIS website. Thank.
