Good news :)

My husband received a hard copy in the mail of our NOA2, we have been approved!! :D

PD date Sept 28, 2015 with Chicago Lockbox.

NOA1 received from Texas Service Center on Sept 30, 2015.

Transferred to Potomac on Nov 10, 2015.

Approved Feb 17, 2016. (140 days or 4 months 20 days)

Note: Our myUSCIS case status webpage has not updated and still says Case Received at local office Dec. 2.

Onto the NVC process, hopefully that goes smoothly as well. Good luck to everyone and stay patient and positive :)

There is no need to submit financial documents now ... its required at the NVC stage This is really confusing ... I have read in this forum that who ever had a status change that its in the local of

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

If doesnt mean, all the petitons til Sept 24 are approved. It only means someone from sept 24 also got approved. In that way potomac is sept 28.

looks like these service centers are not following any particular order ... potomac has had someone from sept 28 approved ... but there are people with earlier PD dates still waiting for an NAO2 ... somebody with pd date AUG 20 just got approved ... looks like it depends on whether our files get picked up or not for an approval ... we just need to wait and hope for the best

The dates you see there don't really mean anything. It's just the noa1 date of the last person to update their timeline.

August 7th and still ZERO news.

Can I file an i129f right now? We are married abroad but that has no meaning in the USA. My cr1 file has either been lost or something. This just doesn't make sense.

NOA1- August 7th 2015 ^_^

TSC to PSC- November 10th 2015 :huh:

LOCAL OFFICE- December 2nd 2015 :o

NOA2- February 25th 2016 :D

NVC Stage:

Physical letter received at home address March 17th 2016 (away on business trip)

DS-261 Completed- March 18th 2016

AOS Fee Paid- March 18th 2016

IV Fee Paid- March 26th 2016

IV Application Completed- March 30th 2016

IV and AOS packages sent- May 19th

Interview appointment date received via e-mail- June 2nd (10 business days? how is that even possible?!)

Interview set for June 20th (super short notice!)

VISA DENIED at interview but followed up over email :cry:

VISA ARRIVED 6/30/2016 with no notice of approval over email :pop:

POE Fort Lauderdale 8/15/16 Went smoothly and she's home! :dance:

Yeah... I'm joining the boat from people from August... 6 months and nothing.... PD 08/19... I wish my I-30 was still in Texas... I swear... :(
