where i saw september 9 processing is that under processing timess you click and it says september 9 yesterday it said july 4 so thats the news i saw

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

ok got it thanks .. The processing times on VJ i guess is based on member updates ... not sure if this is based on USCIS processing times

Does any body have an idea how the Processing times in VJ gets updated?

if you go to uscis for form I-130 it says 5 months

I submitted a congressional inquiry regarding my case a month ago. I just heard back from them today... This is what they said:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that Mr. Abedin's petition is still pending adjudication at the Potomac Service Center. The current estimated processing time for I-130 petitions at the Potomac Service Center is the same processing time as the service center where the petitions were transferred from. In this case, since this case was transferred from the Western Service Center, the processing time is 5 months from the date of receipt (October 26, 2015). Please note that estimated processing times are processing goals and not a guarantee that applications will be processed within the estimated timeframe.

Hi guys I've been following this thread for a long time now trying to figure out what's going on with this potomac center....

My PD is 09/04/15

Last update I got was November 10 too. I never got the recived at local office update. And I've hit my 6 months!!!

My last updated was on Nov 10, but I didn't get received at local office updates. Is it normal? What about everyone else?

You submitted a congressional inquiry when your NOA1 date was October 26th? They just told you to wait the 5 months.

I reached out to my congresswoman last week, my NOA1 date is August 8th, so im going on 7 months now with no news. I will let you know what I receive just so you can have expectations for the future.

NOA1- August 7th 2015 ^_^

TSC to PSC- November 10th 2015 :huh:

LOCAL OFFICE- December 2nd 2015 :o

NOA2- February 25th 2016 :D

NVC Stage:

Physical letter received at home address March 17th 2016 (away on business trip)

DS-261 Completed- March 18th 2016

AOS Fee Paid- March 18th 2016

IV Fee Paid- March 26th 2016

IV Application Completed- March 30th 2016

IV and AOS packages sent- May 19th

Interview appointment date received via e-mail- June 2nd (10 business days? how is that even possible?!)

Interview set for June 20th (super short notice!)

VISA DENIED at interview but followed up over email :cry:

VISA ARRIVED 6/30/2016 with no notice of approval over email :pop:

POE Fort Lauderdale 8/15/16 Went smoothly and she's home! :dance:

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
