thanks alot for this reply, :secret: I can say that My 5 months is tomorrow and Im expecting something to come in the mail .I wish all of you luck including my self as well. :luv: .Yes that is true we are all int he same boat but we will arrive .

we are all frustrated and its crazy so I can say that it's gonna pay at the end and we will be happy. :sleepy:

Also I am praying for all of us ,because I know how it is to be away.

I have a question, did you file a joint or separate tax with your wife/husband? Because my husband is having a hard time doing his taxes since i don't have my ssn yet. What can you recommend? Thank you.

My husband filed separately last year in the US, and I filed as married in Canada. This year he plans to file married (although he says since we are married in Canada he can still file single in the US). So far he hasn't mentioned any problems filing without a SSN, also my sister's husband is American and he files married taxes each year with no problem (my sister is Canadian and she does not have an SSN). Hope that helps :)

My PD is JULY 6th, 2015

I received an RFE request on 12/10. Potomac received my RFE documents on 12/29/2015.

I spoke with a tier 2 last week to find out what is going on. They sent a notification verifying that they have received my rfe documents but that they "can give no time frame on when it will be processed." I asked them what that meant and they said that means that I no longer fall into a 'time frame". There is no 60 day mark anymore for me to call and start complaining. The initial 6 month mark from my original processing center (Nebraska) isn't valid anymore. I feel like I've been dumped in a black hole.

Having to wait 8 months so far is extremely hard, but I knew the process was lengthy. Now, not knowing at all how much longer or even having a idea of when it might be over is not just hard, but frightening.

:cry: I hope we all see our approvals soon. It is hard to be away from my husband. So I am sure everyone Is frustrated and it's funny that "most" people believe what the media tells them and they say it's easy to enter in to the US...yeah sure...if that was the case our husband/wife would be here by now.
