I just got my letter today and have been researching for an hour! I don't seem to have a PD number on here either, ugh does this mean the application i filed for hasn't been approved yet?

Hi Anime.

I'm no expert on the matter but I would assume that if you just filed, it has not been approved yet. Only the notice that the service center received your application. Is the Potomac center where your application was sent from the lockbox or was it transfered from another center?

Welcome to the waiting game!

I called uscis and of course not even their robotic customer service reps know. They said all i130 petitions have a time frame of 5 months. Is this legal? Im pissed! The last thing i want is a newley trained CO who has no clue how to handle things touch my case. Even Texas is looking good at this point! ????

Thank you....i think? lol my case was transferred from the Texas Center to the Potomac Office....I've read the new posts on here and i guess we will be hearing from them in december? I'm hoping for the best for everyone since this seems to be a new office and no one has heard from them yet.

But... I have a doubt (I was transferred to Potomac too on 11/10/2015)...

We are about to wait 5 months from the date that the first processing center received or by the date that the case arrived at this new center?

Does someone know about that?

I know if they will gove any kind of information it will be like this, but if someone got the notice that all of us are about to wait 5 motnhs, I want just to be sure that I can stay sad or just keep going for more 2 months (I´m waiting already 3 months).

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)

Hello All,

This thread is for those cases transferred to the Potomac Service Center. And of course for anyone else that would like to comment. It has been particularly difficult to not know what is going on with the new service center. Maybe we can help each other on here with updates. Please include when you filed and received your receipt number, and also when you were transferred and if you receive any updates.
