Question to those that have (luckily) moved on to the NVC stage of the process:

Have you received updates on your myUSCIS since it has moved from Potomac to the NVC?

Tier 2 officer informed my husband today that they are processing cases from July 4 at Potomac. Looks like we will hit 6 months before we are approved. Good luck to all and hang in there :)

No. The last update I ever got on myuscis was that it was transferred. My wife received a letter to her home saying the petition was approved. Even now, it is received by nvc and uscis isn't updated.

Anyone who got case approved informed by t2 officer that your case was approved? Then, after a week you received notice of approval? Coz, my hubby call thrice a week. So we can be updated at least a week. But, until now there's no difference. Hit the 4month period already PD was Sept 22

I got the same message when I called ,,but does anyone know are they any where near october end of september cases,what they are now doing July arent they done with july

does anyone know on the interview do they ask for photos and also how do they want them printed them or paper on doc...

They did not asked me the photos. However I just prepared when they asked. I printed, and put them in the thick A4 papers (2 photos on each paper) and noted date/time and the place below.

They asked:

1 how did your husband's family came to USA?

2. asked the religion when they saw the pics were taken in the church

3. asked our parents birth certificated as My father and his mother has the same last name. They thought they are cousins or the same family. And I had it and hand it in

there are some pp don't want to receive the form they need right away, and ask you provide in another day

But when you have forms as they need in hand, do not afraid, just let them know " I have it now if you would like to see it sir?".

That happened to me. She gave me the Blue paper (means failed) and asked to provide the our parents birth certificate in one week later. I said I have it know. She said : Oh good, can I see?

Then she gave me the Pink paper (means pass) right away.

we also printed the phone bills, emails, the checks, air plane tickets ( it you don't have tickets, u can print the visa on passport that has date/time) since we met each other to the dates closer the day interview, make sure we always contact.

With the way things are being approved, I'm guessing all October filers should hear something next month!

My PD is 10/16 I was transferred in Nov. I hit my 4 month mark next month, and with the pattern I noticed it seems like people get their approvals between their 4-5 month period. I'm really hoping to hear something from them! This wait is exhausting me out mentally...Hopefully we will be with our loved ones soon. :clock:

Good luck to you! Don't get too tense on those expectations though.... My NOA1 date is the first week of August and still zero news.

For every one person that gets approved from september, many more are still waiting from august.

NOA1- August 7th 2015 ^_^

TSC to PSC- November 10th 2015 :huh:

LOCAL OFFICE- December 2nd 2015 :o

NOA2- February 25th 2016 :D

NVC Stage:

Physical letter received at home address March 17th 2016 (away on business trip)

DS-261 Completed- March 18th 2016

AOS Fee Paid- March 18th 2016

IV Fee Paid- March 26th 2016

IV Application Completed- March 30th 2016

IV and AOS packages sent- May 19th

Interview appointment date received via e-mail- June 2nd (10 business days? how is that even possible?!)

Interview set for June 20th (super short notice!)

VISA DENIED at interview but followed up over email :cry:

VISA ARRIVED 6/30/2016 with no notice of approval over email :pop:

POE Fort Lauderdale 8/15/16 Went smoothly and she's home! :dance:
