yes people who filed in September , October are well within the 5 months time frame . The reason for being transferred to potomac was for faster processing atleast thats what the letter stated ... so lets all hope for the best that we get our approvals soon ... praying ..

Hi I just wanted to ask how can u file your taxes if your married but your spouse doesnt have a ssn yet since you just applied for IR1 to get her. It is really necessary to change the status when u pay taxes? Thanks

5 months since priority date in four days (January 24th) - hoping for an NOA2 in the mail soon! Planning to call on February 1st to inquire if it isn't received by then.

I don't know how much good it did but I wrote to my U.S. Senator and received a reply from a case worker in his office. I needed to fill out forms and hopefully I receive expedite criteria. Also, I expressed my concerns on the lengthy process times and how all of us are in the dark being transferred to Potomac and how there is nothing on USCIS website to assist us and we don't know of approval unless we check our mailbox everyday. It has been 100 days since my PD and transfer on 11-09. I hope this might help all of us in our waiting journey. :clock: I am heading to Mexico tomorrow to see my wife for a week. It is her birthday and will keep in touch if any news.

I have also reached out to my state senator in hope he can contact them at potomac and see what is going on with my case. Hopefully I'll hear back from him tomorrow and I will let you all know what news he brings to me. Hopefully something good! It has been 5 months and 2 weeks since my PD which is 8/6

Hi guys! Good news my friend who has a friend got an approval notice from mail! PD September 11

CASE WAS APPROVED January 14

received approval notice today! After a week..HOPE EVERYONE WOULD RECEIVE APPROVAL NOTICE SOONEST!!! Horray!
