I know a lot of files have been approved at potomac center, but do u guys know if any of those files have been received at NVC?

Mine was approved on Dec 10 at potomac but NVC has not received it yet. NVC told me to call back on tuesday 19th.

Please share if your case was approved at the Potomac center and NVC received it.

Me too. Still waiting for NVC receive my parent case from potomac. Was approved Dec 14th, tried call last Friday but they said nothing on there computer so mean they not yet receive anything yet. That's worry too.

End of one Journey, and the start of another? Well, at least you guys KNOW you're approved. So I wouldn't worry about it too much. This Potomac service center is definitely stirring the pot, so systems are off.

Yup! Transferred to Potomac from California on 11/09 with PD 10/23. No updates since then.

Usually takes about 5 months for an application to be approved. So you're still within a good timeframe.

yes people who filed in September , October are well within the 5 months time frame . The reason for being transferred to potomac was for faster processing atleast thats what the letter stated ... so lets all hope for the best that we get our approvals soon ... praying ..

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

    6/22/2016 Confirmation that they received the packet

Yup! Transferred to Potomac from California on 11/09 with PD 10/23. No updates since then.

PD is 10/18 and transferred date to Potomac is 11/09 so we are in the same boat actually !

The reason why people were transferred to Potomac, was because the other locations were so backlogged it would've took 8 to 9 months instead of 5 to get approved. These service centers were up to their neck in applications. Potomac opening was sort of a Godsend for them. If they do get approved less than 5 months that would be wonderful, but it's unlikely

PD date 10/3 and transfer date is 11/09

Waiting for so approvals there is a lot of us that are in the same boat with transfer 11/09-11/10

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site in terms of registering with the site but I have been following these forums for a while now.

Just a little info about my case:

Sent I-130 Sept. 21, 2015 Chicago Lockbox

USCIS received case Sept. 25, 2015

Case transfered from TSC to Potomac Nov. 9,2015

No new updates since then.

most of us are in the same boat ... waiting to hear for an update ... as of now it looks like potomac is processing august and september files so we should hear something soon...
