My I-130 is has been finally approved from the Potomac. The filing date was August 31. Didn't receive any email or text like the other two time when they stated that they have received the paperwork and it's being transferred to Potomac (originally Texas Center). I just found it in the mailbox right now.

so does that mean they re just starting September if you August was just approved ...

any info on approvals

I'm unsure if that's what it means. It seems that the approvals are all over the place. Some approvals even in September, yet there are still applications submitted from August (such as my own - August 24th) that have not yet received anything in the mail, just the last update that it is "at the local office". Hoping for something in the mail any day now (hoping!!!!)!!!!

I called the USCIS today and the representative told me that I had to wait 90 days before they can look at the date the case was sent to the NVC. I asked to be transferred to a Tier 2 representitive and the man said that they will say the same thing, but I had him transfer me anywayz. An automated service basically schedulled a call back to my number. Any tips or pointers on how I can get them to tell me ?

My Case was approved from Potomac Dec 1st

Called USCIS today and I was able to speak with a tier 2 rep. My case was shipped from Potomac to NVC Jan 8th. NVC has not received it yet but I feel more at ease knowing that it was shipped.
