    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

No real updates from my side.

PD 7/6/2015 NSC

xferd to potomac 10/15/15

RFE request received 12/12/15

RFE retuned and delivered 12/28/15 - according to tier 2 officer as of yesterday it has not been officially received and is not in their system.

On a side note, if you have moved and changed your address make sure you phone USCIS to verify they have the correct address. I put in my request to change mid september. my USCIS acct shows that the request was received, processed and completed end of September yet Potomac mailed my RFE request to my old address. I called and spoke to a tier 2 December 7th at which time they show my correct address but that my RFE was sent to the old one. She said "Maybe potomac hasn't updated it on their system yet." So, she put in yet another request to make sure it is correct which her system is showing it is.

THIS is the type of thing that makes this process frustrating. Yes, the waiting sucks, but when you follow the rules and do everything correctly and it still gets messed up and delayed, makes me want to pull my hair out.

On the flipside, CONGRATS to those of you who have been approved! WHOOPWHOOP!!

Damn this waiting sucks. We have been Waiting and others centers are moving forward. I wish my case could have stayed at nebraska. Nvc never received my case either approved date is dec 11th.

Our 5 months is coming up soon as well - and we are getting very anxious! PD is August 24. Planning to start calling on the 25th if we haven't received anything by then.

Thankfully, we live across the border from one another and can visit one another in Canada while this is all processing (which is nice too with the exchange rate right now!) - I can't imagine being separated for all the processing time. So sorry for all those that are separated from their loved ones - this really is a brutal process.

Let's all be optimistic and hope for the NOA2s to come rolling in this week and next!

Still waiting on the nvc to receive my I 130. Still no word I received my approval from the USCIS on December 1st 2015. Is there a way that we can use a thread on here to track the time it might take for the National Visa Center to give us a case number. For ex. from the noa2 to the National Visa Center actually receiving our I 130 case and giving us a case number.

I still have not seen anyone from the Potomac center get a case number yet. Anyone on here? Technically if you count only the work days I understand I'm not at the 35 full days but it looks like a few people on here have hit over 35 working days and still no case number from the nvc. so I'm so confused
