mine 60 days was yesterday transfer date 11/09/2015

    5/23/2015 Case arrived at NVC

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

    6/22/2016 Confirmation that they received the packet

Same here. Nov 9 since it was transferred from texas to Potomac. Then, last online update was Dec 2 case was received at my local office. And they told us, that our case is now open and still under review. Hoping all of us would have a case approval by this month!!!

Yup! Btw, to those who are still waiting for the response of NVC. As I know after 2 weeks of case approval you can call the nvc to follow up your nvc case number. Dont wait for 30-45days until you call them coz I believe it was not true. And I saw someone who posted here that CR told them you can scan a copy of your approval notice to nvc thru email so they can verify or check it while your papers not yet receive by them(nvc)

I have been calling them. They have been telling me that I will have to wait little longer and complete 35 days. So 5 more days then I will scan my approval letter and send it to nvc. Good luck to all of us.

Their priority date is Sept 3 ; Case was transferred Nov9 ; Case was received at my local office dec2. On or before the 4th month waiting! Its a good sign guys! They are now working in September fillers so let's keep praying and everythings going to be alright.

Thanks for the udpate , its the first time someone has posted that there is an RFE from potomac ... any idea when they received their RFE mail so that we can have an idea when our applications will be processed

Her husband received it this saturday. 7days after their 4th month period. So i guess it's between on or before the 4months waiting time. And I also noticed the same length of approval from others as well.

Our RFE was sent to us saying that our International Marriage Certificate was not translated correctly. They sent the notice to us !2/22/1015, we recieved the notice 12/27/2015. We got the Marriage Certificate translated and sent it back to them 1/4/2016. We are waiting to hear back from them.

Transferred 11/10

still zero updates but this post proves what i originally suspected.....the original PD means nothing once the case is transferred to potomac (its the transfer date that they are prioritizing)

I wish my case had stayed in the texas black hole....at least i wouldve known whats going on with it.

NVC Stage:

Physical letter received at home address March 17th 2016 (away on business trip)

DS-261 Completed- March 18th 2016

AOS Fee Paid- March 18th 2016

IV Fee Paid- March 26th 2016

IV Application Completed- March 30th 2016

IV and AOS packages sent- May 19th

Interview appointment date received via e-mail- June 2nd (10 business days? how is that even possible?!)

Interview set for June 20th (super short notice!)

VISA DENIED at interview but followed up over email :cry:

VISA ARRIVED 6/30/2016 with no notice of approval over email :pop:

POE Fort Lauderdale 8/15/16 Went smoothly and she's home! :dance:

I feel for ya.. if my application had stayed in California, it would have been approved months ago, and I would know where it is and what is going on now.

The RFE is about divorce decree of her husband and the passport photo of beneficiary must be original bcoz she just scanned it and sent to her hubby and printed it.
