Finally,

After 3 months and 10 days.... Form I-130 APPROVED on August 29!!!!!!!!!! :thumbs::dance::yes:

By the way we haven´t received any text messages neither email from USCIS, we just received and update notification on our case on the USCIS app (non-official app), then we went to the USCIS website and sure enough, it was approved.

waiting for the next step :dancing:

(L) Jan 23, 2016 - Marriage (L)

USCIS STAGE

May 16, 2016 - I-130 sent
May 23,2016 - email notification received
May 28, 2016 - NOA 1 Hard Copy received

Case assigned to Potomac. Receipt Number beginning with YSC

May 19,2019 - Priority and received date

August 29, 2016 - I-130 APPROVED

NVC STAGE

October 3, 2016 - AOS and IV Paid

October 7,2016 - DS-261 submitted
October 18, 2016 - AOS and IV package sent to NVC

October 24, 2016 - NVC scan date

December 27, 2016 - NVC CASE COMPLETED

Got an email on August 31 in response to my request that my case had been approved. The online status has not changed and I have not received an approval notice in the mail. Should I be worried?

I got my NOA2 today . My online status has not changed. The notice shows that it was approved on August 31 but my case still hows case received. My PD is June 10. I am so happy. I was so worried. On to NVC :)

Good luck to anyone else waiting for approval! :) :)

Which app are you folks are using. I didnt find an official app from USCIS but some privately created ones. Any help will be much appreciated

I use an iPhone app called "case tracker" I think it's the best one because you can search up to 500 cases before or after your case number

Just wanted to post that we finally received our NOA 2 after 1 year of waiting - almost exactly to the day (things that make ya go hmmm?) No reason for delays and absolutely no explanations were ever provided...Not during the case inquiry in april nor the senators office inquiry in July nor the multitude of calls placed to both tier 1,tier 2 and even the supervisor escalation call in August. We are thankful to be approved but have suffered severely being separated and unable to begin our lives together because of bureaucracy. This process thus far has been unfathomable and we have only finished step one. I pray force speedy NVC and Interview process.

wow! That is terribe. I am sorry to hear you had to wait so long. I can imagine how painful that must have been. Congratulations on your approval and I hope you have a quick and NVC and interview . Best of luck to you in the reminder of the process.

Potomac (YSC) was FINALLY added to the processing times table on the USCIS website! YAY!!!!

04/19/16 PD - NOA1 (Potomac Service Center)

07/13/16 Transferred to National Benefits Center to "speed up" processing

08/06/16 Transferred to Local Field Office (Philadelphia) for Marriage Interview

10/04/16 - Congressional Inquiry

01/05/17 - Ombudsman says will receive Interview letter within 30 Days!

02/01/17 - Marriage Interview

02/02/17 - I-130 Approved!!!  :D
