you call NVC at 603-334-0700 and press 1 for english and then 3 to check if papers arrived from USCIS ...and they will tell you

congrat everyone so happy we are a family at NVC now this shouldnt take long guys we made it

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

I use the freetone app and its free, since I call from abroad.

hey guys quick question i called nvc and they told me that our papers are there do you think that I can ask for a case number and or do you think they have it thanks guys

They would have told you when they told you they have your papers. I have been calling since late last week, and we don't have a case number yet. They tell me when I call "we have received your paperwork, but we have not yet assigned a case number". You need to wait it out again, I'm afraid. That is, you can call on a regular basis, but they likely won't have it yet. We've been waiting two weeks now...

There seems to be a massive amount of irrelevant posts coming through on this thread. Can we please ensure that people stick to the 'Potomac I-130 filers' theme? If your case has been approved, and your next step is NVC, please move on to an NVC-related thread. This will help you (due to it being more relevant), and those of us who are still waiting (due to us being able to more closely monitor relevant progress.

I have literally just checked, and my I-130 has been approved today - 25 May 2016.

Timeline was as follows:

20 Feb 16 - Married.

1 Mar 16 - Posted I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

4 Mar 16 - Receipt from USCIS via email.

11 Mar 16 - I-797C (NOA1) received in post, giving priority date of 2 Mar 16.

25 May 16 - I-130 approved.

Exactly 85 days from posting the application to approval. Good luck to you all.

Yeahhh! Got assigned a case number on TUESDAY! I just called NVC.

I told you Bosna that NVC assigned case number on tuesday. Try calling again and see.

How I know is my cas has 500+144 (Julian day), which is 644. Because 23May2016, which was tuesday, corresponds to Julian day 144.
