I might be wrong. I read it on visa journey a tread that dated back in 2006 that NVC have specific day they gives out Case number. I veryfied it and all the petitiones I read their thread, the date they received their case number correspond a Tuesday. I think "War teacher" received his case on a Tuesday.

Thats not true. My case number was assigned on a Monday and I called everyday since they received my case so the exact day I am sure of.

Ok I guess things might have change from then. It could be a coincidence that his case was assigned on a tuesday. However my case was assigned on a monday ;)

hey guys I called todays and they told me that they havent received it yet today is 8 days I was approved and since they sent it off to NVC so I will call like wednesday to see what happens and then call friday

My case was sent on the 09Mai2016, NVC received it on 11Mai2016. But case is not assigned yet.

I was suprised that NVC received it in only two business days

really how long ago since you were approved /.?

wow they said they sent it over May 19 and today is the 23 so Im waiting Ill call tommorow who knows

Called the NVC today and they assigned me a case number! The customer service agent told me it's been assigned since the 21st which was a Saturday.. I didn't bother to ask because I was so excited.. but it looks like there aren't set days for them to assign case numbers!
