I'm September 2015 and still waiting for I-130 Approval, Transferred from California to Potomac on November 09, 2015 and no update to my case since then.

I'm September 2015 and still waiting for I-130 Approval, Transferred from California to Potomac on November 09, 2015 and no update to my case since then.

I Am a September filer too and was transferred the same time but I got approved March and I just submitted my civil documents and waiting my 30 days. So u should definitely call USCIS..

I call almost every day and nobody help i have sent three requests since February and all time the same response that my case under review by an officer and i should receive decision within 60 days but the 60 days pass with nothing. i'm waiting for response to the third request i have sent last week.

good luck you almost there. every time i call they told me every case different even i don't know what could be the reason they hold my case for. i did not get any RFE or any update since transfer.

People who have filed in august or september, my assumption is that they need more time to be convinced of it or something or there is the name issue or it depends. You guys should call and speak to a tier 2 officer as many suggested here and ask them for a reason. you can also inquire online on the website.

As for people who have had their case approved quickly, i have a question, what was the evidence you guys sent beside the marriage certificate? did you guys send anything else, such as marriage photos or a letter or something?

No I did not send any marriage photo or anything like that. We actually got RFE look at my timeline, I think my case was approve about a week after RFE.

Approved within 70 days or so - we sent in marriage certificate, copies of plane tickets from visits, and screenshots of chat times (we removed the conversation, so only the date and name was visible).

No, Bosna, we never had an RFE. We filed in February 2016 and got approved just a few days ago. We had sent the proof of relationship (that reminds me, I forgot to say that we actually also sent a letter we received regarding our joint bank account!) along with the I-130 and other forms.

oh sprry thanks alot for the info well on may 3 they started to work back on my i-130 i had an rfe so im waiting how long does it take for them to finish that my rfe was about marriage certificate translations anyone I would appricate it very

You're welcome I think them working on the additional paperwork you had to send in is a good sign. We never managed to create the account because we didn't expect anything to happen (yet). We had planned that for this weekend, actually

Oh, I believe that. It must be so disheartening to see everyone get approved, especially since you were transferred for a supposed quicker processing

We actually never got an online update to NOA2, at least we never saw one. I just checked the app I use on Friday to see what the case number was again, and all of a sudden it updated and the text below the case number changed. I didn't gett it until re-reading it a few times. It had changed to "sent to Department of State for further visa processing". It seems they did not scan it when they approved it, or at least, we didn't check it then because according to the VJ estimate we should still have approximately 2-3 weeks until the approval.

Sorry, no, I didn't mean it's a good thing they didn't understand the marriage certificate, I meant it's a good thing you know they have picked up your paperwork again and are working on it. Because when they actually work on it, the approval should not be too far away, right?

yeah I guess I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten a text email or some sort of an update just so I know what to watch for
