I thought I would put my status in the forum on my I130. My priority date is October 9, My receipt date is October 13. It was filed through Chicago Lockbox and sent to California. Then I receive notice that is was transferred to Potomac on November 9. Then my latest update that it was received at office on December 2. Those of us that have been transferred to Potomac have to look after each other because the USCIS website sure isn't helping out.

I agree Being transferred to Potamoc is a good thing but we just have to wait and also we have to look out for each other as well.There is no update on the website yet :ranting:

Yes!!!!!!!! I am an August filer, 08-10-15. And I just checked the case status, and we were approved!!! Our case was in nebraska.

but they are pretty fast which is a good thing

Hello all..can everyone please RELAX! you realize that when they answer phones and update websites they are taking away time from working on cases...so that is why things are never up to date online bcus its not their first priority. If your case was received at your local office, it means it is officially at Potomac and being worked on..so be patient and be hopeful. Also, if you keep listing you are waiting, so are the rest of us so you're not alone and theres no point in posting about it every day. I get notifications and I get excited to read about a fellow poster who has been approved only to be disappointed and see another person complaining about waiting. No news is also good news, it just means they are working on your case. People from July and August are being approved which is way ahead of our original centers (NSC, TSC etc) who are still on may and June according to the updates. I hope you all have a good day, can breathe and relaxa little and juss be patient. No need to panic and call every day or post about waiting. Ps, this is the first step in waiting so go on easy on yourself it's a long road ahead of us after our NOA2 for a visa number and and interview date etc...so juss take it easy :)

Wow, I thought I was the only one reading that some May and June filers are still waiting...so many assumptions out there. You couldn't have said it better :thumbs:
