Hi everyone. Im a september filer. Me and my husband been married since november 4th 2014 (same sex marriage) PD september 14 2015, my husband is n removal proceeding and as i was reading our i130 was transfered to Potomac on dec 2 2015 like lots of cases i see. We received and approval letter on the mail on march 21st , but also a second letter saying that the case was reopened with the same date! Anyone with something similar?

Are you sure you changed the date by a week? Because my date is 09/29 which is a week before yours and it doesn't let me submit an inquiry.

I did it online the first time I did it wouldn't let me said I was in processing limits but the second time I changed my date I sent petition in by a week

Are you sure you changed the date by a week? Because my date is 09/29 which is a week before yours and it doesn't let me submit an inquiry.

my pd date is October 9th and it will not let me send a case inquiry

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

I really don't think it's a good idea to recommend changing dates ect. This forum wants us to be straight up . Moderator what's your opinion on that post?

Soon I'll hit 6 months about 182 days and someone said their case took about 188 days for it to be approved. I hope that's the case. Next week it will be 6 months (PD 10/09 transfer 11/9)

Given you applied for K1 instead of IR1/CR1, like most of us, the processing time for your visa could be different. This could explain why you waited for 8 months.

No my application is IR1/CR1. I did a K1 last year and didn't get approved so I got married. K1 is actually quicker.
