My too my PD is August 26 and I can't do case inquiry I don't know why it say my case is normal procession and have more than 7 Mont

Peter.. call in and do a case inquiry. It's been over 6 months for you, no matter what it says on the website.

its based on counry

my country is 6 month wait so i cant send a i quiry till april9 th

It's based on the service center, not country.. I was told today that for Potomac it's 6 months. They don't even know the country when you call in.. they have to actually look at your application for that.

Thank you , so Potomac is a 6 month wait before inquiry...

Sometimes can be 5,6,7 months but most Services center. are 6 months now. You should call. And see what is going on with your case. And do the inquiry by phone with one of the officer.

That´s good to know! But do you know if this person had the case in Potomac?

Hey! I am American (petitioner) living abroad with my husband and we were sent to Potomac. I sent I-130 packet via FedEx February 11th, it was accepted and routed to Potomac February 20th. We are still waiting. One thing to note, if you are filing from abroad, they do not send you receipts, you will have to rely on email unless you have a contact in the US where you can change your address to. I asked about the expedition over the phone and the officer told me he was unable to tell, just to watch my email, but I was not speaking to the Potomac office directly.

Will keep all of you living and filing from abroad posted as we work through Potomac!
