Just spoke with tier 2 officer who tracked my case. He said website was updated because Potomac office just processed my case in their system but its still there and will be handled soon. Good News I guess!

Priority Date: August 14th

((November 10th, 2015)) -Application Transferred To Potomac Service Center in Arlington, VA.

((Priority Date Empty on Letter))

((December, 2nd 2015)) - Case Received At Local Office. December, 2nd 2015

Did anyone else receive an empty Priority Date on their transfer letter to Potomac? I'm interested to know if that means it changed, or is it the same?

This whole experience so far is definitely a test on ones character. :clock:

I'm going to talk to my immigration lawyer tomorrow, and ask them a few questions. I will let you know what they say tomorrow. Hopefully it's not bad news.

12-02-2015: Update on USCIS website ( Case Received At Local Office )

03-04-2016: NOA2 ( letter from Potomac Service Center )

03-07-2016: Sent to NVC

03-07-2016: NVC received our case. (that's what they said over the phone, idk how they received it the same day it was sent)

03-17-2016: Case Number & IIN Issued

03-17-2016: Choice of Agent DS-261

03-18-2016: AOS Fee Paid

03-23-2016: IV Fee Paid

03-28-2016: DS-260 Submitted

03-30-2016: AOS & IV Package sent to NVC
03-31-2016: NVC Received AOS & IV Package / Scan Date

how do you get a hang of someone


  1. in the first place why were we transffered to potamoc if we are going to be notified from the texas

mine said transffered to local office then what part does Potomac play here ../ any help
